I checked the rules and can't find an age restriction, I think you are correct this is a mybb requirement.

That's pretty interesting. Just looked myself and can confirm that it's not mentioned in the rules or when registering on MyG.

However, I thought we had this talk way back when the forum was started? I was under the impression that it was 18+ mostly because of the lack of a swear filter. Also, there's a rather wide array of things spoken about on here which would be considered inappropriate for minors.

But fine, I take that back and reiterate that OP is a prime example of WHY this forum should be 18+ :p

I think most people would've settled for...you know, not posting again. But hey, whatever works.
