Hooray! Excellent excuse to go out, by a bike, leather jacket and 2 shotguns. But this is pretty interesting. I for see the future of super computing involving the whole worlds PC's ticking away and processing data whilst we are at work or school. We can be part of the bigger picture and our own demise as popularized by pop culture!
I see they fail to mention the BW usage required for running this..Im guessing it'll be plenty.
Although it is a cool Idea its not a practical one in SA, where we have caps and shitty line speeds.
That's exactally what I was thinking. It's like running [email protected] I guess, just you have to funnel cash into Eskom in the name of science!
Done that once pretty cool they send you a lil program you run in the background and when your pc is on idle it will download small amounts of data and send it back.
I can't in good conscience, support something that purports to be skynet.
