Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition exclusive to HMV in UK, GameStop in Ireland

UK retailer HMV has secured an exclusive on the Prestige Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. (Y'know, the one with the night vision goggles.) The chain's online store confirms availability of the title on November 10 at a price of £149 ($243). It's noted that the edition will be in limited availability, although the limit of three to a customer is quite generous for a collector's item.

We've also received word from a retail source that GameStop will carry the set exclusively in Ireland, where it will sell for €149 ($211).

Did we mention it includes night vision goggles?

And by Exclusively they mean Exclusively in the UK. Not globally so dont you guyz fret non we will still get our goggles.

Yeh we will get our goggles but ffs thats gonna cost us an arm and half a liver for a pair of those..... becoz for one they are going to be in high demand and secondly its gonna be much better playing the game with nightvision goggles and ja............. What i wonder is if you move your head around does that mean the camera follows ur head movement????? now think about it that would be awesome :cool: :)

I pre-ordered my Presitge from BT already. Saving up now so i can afford it. Nothing will beat playing MW2 online with ze goggles on ya head.

Was wondering how well they will work, can't be as good as the real thing. Can they?

According to Rumours its made by the same company who make the Eyeclops night vision goggles, which can see it to 50 feet in the dark. So the simple answer is no, their not a good as the real thing, but pretty sweet none the less. Then again only a complete idiot would expect to get military grade gear with a video game....

Where did u get the Price? I was under the impression it was going to be R1500. As its $150 and 150pounds in the UK and 150euro's in Europe.

Therefore:
150 Pounds = R1,978.62
