Impressive. Though I won't be upgrading to Windows 7 anytime soon. I'm happy with Vista and with the money that would have been used to upgrade to Windows 7, I can rather upgrade my hardware.
Windows 7 = improved gaming.
New hardware = improved gaming.
At the moment I don't need either, even though I'd love to get both.
Think ill hold off until my next upgrade, as said in other thread, so that all the little kinks are ironed out. Looks worth it so far and im glad where putting vista behind us. Say Tinman can you upgrade straight from XP with our formatting or what?
Im planning to do some majour upgrading this time next year looking to spend about 20k on a monster machine that will keep me for another 3 or so years. Will get Win7 with it.Quote:

Only real problem I experienced with previous versions of 7 is that the Audigy 2 ZS is not really suported. I see there are some workaround drivers but they only show mild success.
I don't wanna use onboard, as the Audigy2 ZS helps at higher rez gaming by taking some load off my oldish CPU
I haven't had any trouble with my Audigy 2ZS in Windows 7 RC1.
I am using the latest Audigy 2 drivers from Creative.
