I was given 100mil last night... and from my perspective, i'm rolling in ISK at the moment (i'm aware 100mil isn't a lot to most players)

Yes, that are some benefits to being in a big and well established corp.

On the EVE Bank, they should really create a NPC Bank, that would be much better.

I learnt last night my CEO builds titans :eek:

5 accounts, 4 I know about - Mining, Combat, Trading, Corp Management with an incredibly large wallet

I had 2 corp mates test out my rigged passive tank...

A HAM Drake and an AC Cane, together they got me below 20% without hardeners, and individually neither could break 60% shields

Well, after I logged last night, I decided to knuckle down and sort out my skill training. So I created a skill plan in EveMon. I should be finished with the basic skills I want by May 2010 ....

I'm questioning whether its a good thing the level 3 I accepted last night is New Frontiers... reading up on eve-survival, its not looking positive :o

My defense is 703 vs Drones for the 10m47s my Invul fields last, I wonder if it will be enough

Heh, the mining bug bit me last night after completing a mission...

In serious thought about resubbing my mining char and moving him across to my main's home in Amarr space

EDIT: Does anyone know how effective mining drones are compared to mining lasers?

to give you a small idea, when mining Viscous Pyroxeres, my Miner 2 laser pulls in 499 ore about and my T1 drone brings in 52. I used the dronebay on my Navitas for protection more than anything.

I think though, once you have a ton of T2 Mining Drones, they could get quite useful

I see thanks... so it would be better to equip Mining lasers along with drones for additional mining speed

EBANK Releases Financial Statements Revealing Depth of Crisis

Based upon Ray McCormack's estimation, 150 billion ISK of the 257 billion ISK loan book is made up of toxic debt. It appears that the recovery process for EBANK will be a difficult and lengthy one.

This recent shock has only confirmed one ex EBANK customer's view of banking institutions in New Eden: "Well, I think these [types] of things are basically time bombs. With that much on the line and so many things that can go wrong ... it's a disaster waiting to happen." Adding: "It's been proven that the risk is too high for what you get out of it."

Another ex-customer of EBANK added their own reaction to the statement: "I feel extremely bad for the people that have had their accounts "frozen" and I don't think Ebank is going about repairing things in an ideal way."

As and when more information comes to light on Ebank's financial situation, follow-up reports will be published by the Interstellar Correspondents.

Well, I've downloaded the client and the patch now. Just waiting till the end of the month so I can get some int. bandwidth back and then I can sign up for a trial and check it out.

I see that you can buy game time with in-game money. How much is it, would I be able to make enough during my trial to buy some? Or is it very expensive?

I don't really have a reliable income at the moment so I'm hoping if I set aside some time every month to earn enough ISK (i think thats the currency) to buy 30 days of time I'll be able to keep playing.

Would this be a possibility?

^^ You might struggle in the beginning, but it will get easier as you go along.

If you invest a lot of time in the beginning then you should be able to make enough for some game time. Once you've got some time you can focus on getting better equipment and skills to help you get that ISK faster.

Not sure on the prices though. It's been a while since I investigated.

those ingame time codes are going for around 30-35million isk from what I've seen. it should be pretty easy to get on the trial, but you'd have to work at it.
