For me I followed her after she left her house and took a back way through the town, snuck up behind her and slit her throat, even got a super cool finishing animation for my troubles. But the guards did come a running and I bailed.

Well ofcourse "any thug can kill", but how does a master become a master?
Through practice.
Lots and lots of practice. ;D
Besides, that was how I did it at first, for funsies. It became difficult to handle the situation, so I reloaded,
Spoiler: show
Omega posted a pro tip sometime yesterday which I found quite handy. While on my way to get stuff from Eldergleam, I checked out some Stormcloaks and Imperials knocking the hell out of each other. Dragon enters the fight, killing all the people that were knocking each other. I move in for the kill on the dragon, which left me with a dragon and 6 bodies to loot.
I just found a awesome book for Alchemy *A herbalists guide to Skyrim*
It shows allot of ingredients and what they can be combined with for good potions and poisons,if u see it in a shop its worth buying
Just got the game on Saturday snd OMFG! it is so awesome:) i didn't get very far because I'm going to play Assassins Creed Revelations and SR: the third first. Skyrim needs all my attention
Last night a bear attacked me while Im riding my horse out of Winterhold, I jump of and unrelenting force him to give me time to get draw my weapons before he kills my horse. Just killed the bear when a freaking frost troll showed up and had to take him down as well.
If you havent already track down the Frost form Shout its epic. Freezes ur target solid taking them out of the fight for almost a minute and it damages health. The wall is close to the shire ontop of that mountain behind Windhelm.
Oh yeah, I have Frost form at level 2 now, really awesome shout, one of the few that I use often.
Bears and trolls used to scare the shit out of me, more so than dragons XD Now though, they're easy to deal with. If ever I'm fighting something particularly tough (that isn't a dragon) I have a dragon plate shield with +22% better blocking and the perk to slow down time when someone does a power attack on you, works wonders! >.<
I will def be tracking down frost level 2. I use Marked for death & Unrelenting force often the rest not so much. I have a perk that slows time when I zoom the aim of my bow, meaning I can fire multiple arrows before whatever is chasing me gets with it melee range.
The same here. If you have an ATI/AMD card there is a new update available that fixes some issues with Skyrim, BF3, Rage & Batman: AC - linkie.
Also check out SkyrimNexus there are some mods that might help and they also have an active community that might help with a solution.
So about the little no-clip HAX that could get you a few glimpses of Cyrodiil and Morrowind...went onto another site that I monitor and saw this guy playing with it, taking a few steps further.
Check out what he reckons

Skyrim Bone Dragon Glitch.
Seems Isengard sound suggestion has done the trick.:)
I sold my krosis mask before I knew u could collect them, anyone have any ideas how I could get it back,do buyers keep your items?
Ventured off the Dark Brotherhood quest line and did 1 & a half dungeons.
Another thing I've picked up is that I miss the char screen where I can see exactly how much damage I'm doing. The damage counted in the items menu does take enchantments into account, example: I have the nightingale bow and another ebony bow, the unenchamted bow does more damage than the nightingale bow if the item menu damage counter is to be believed.
As a result I have put all my enchanted weapons away and went vanilla.

...time for Skyrim.
howsit dudes. i have just started Skyrim last night on the xbox. great game! but i had a couple questions :
1) if the owner of a house is standing outside, and i walk in and steal something, will the alarm bells go off? or can i commit a crime safely, just so long as nobody sees me ?
2) if i have a flame spell in left hand and a weapon in right hand, and i zap enemey until they almost dead, but i then apply killer blow with my weapon, which of my stats goes up ? the "one-handed-weapon" or the DESTRUCTION spell or both ?
3) similiar question as above, with regards to sneaking. if i sneak around, does it automatically increase that skill over time? or do i have to actually attack somebody while sneaking ?
You can commit crimes as much as you want as long as there are no witnesses.
As for the leveling of your skills, both will level. Since the more you USE a skill or weapon that trait will gain experience. Just use your skills and they will level, kills aren't necessary to level your skills.
Hope this helps.
I've noticed npc's in Skyrim started hating me after i stole some stuff, even though no one saw me.
my companion got killed last night... darn stupid ice troll, i had to run away cause i couldnt kill it lol
Has anyone done the Mage's College quests in Winterhold? Did you notice a bug with the last battle of that quest?
It was a freaking awesome quest, one of the most brutal mini adventures. Some potent enemies along the way but I think the final battle was bug ridden. I don't want to give away spoilers but I couldn't take any health from that last guy. I tried for ages and used my most powerful spells with no effect. A couple of Wisps randomly showed up and started attacking my opponent. So I thought screw it and went and stuffed around elsewhere. Then I get a message saying the guy died and the quest is completed.
Anyway, I thought I was supposed to be the guy who showed him his own ass. You get some very cool rewards and everyone congratulates me for doing it even though I just ran away. haha
Thanks for reminding me. My dead companion is still lying in Labyrinthian and has a lot of my stuff still on her. Should probably go and retrieve it and sell them or disenchant the magic ones...Quote:

Since the update the day before yesterday, Bethesda has suceeded in breaking the Large Address Aware fix... So your game won't work like it used to.Quote:
Spoke to soon, still crashed once but much better then before.
I have 8 gig ram so might be a ram thing.
Try the link below for a different fix and a workaround to the "Bethesda Broke Skyrim" patch.

I have robes that generate magika 100% and a mask the generates magika 100% and it seems to be working at 200%. If I use my spells it almost regenerates as fast as I use it. So it takes ages before I'm dry. I also have 2 magic staffs from some ghost king and now have the most over the top mage of destruction I've ever seen!
I use the Arch Mage robe and that Morokei mask - 200% magicka regen rate - IT ROCKS!
I also use a Mage's Circlet (+60 magicka) and a Amulet of Magicka (+50 magicka).
Never again shall I want for magicka again.
Anyone else got the Wabbajack yet?

Craziest staff ever!Quote:
Damage: 30
Weight: 10
Value: 1565
Enchantment: A blast from Wabbajack with an unpredictable effect.
Quote:
Wabbajack is a mysterious staff that casts an unpredictable spell which ranges from transforming enemies into other creatures to casting a random Destruction spell to even healing your enemies. This can completely change a battle by transforming an enemy into something weaker, or possibly something much stronger.
