Character pop ins, mamoths shooting 1000 feet into the air for no reason, being launched into the air by a hit from a Gaint club. But u forgive the game coz its SO awesome.

I happened to find some bugs too, but nothing major.
1. The Alik'r/Saadia thing - NPS froze for a while and when you'd talk to them, it would say "This person is busy". No biggie, saved the game and reloaded. Fixed.
2. Some textures struggled to load. Most notably a) a cow's face (loaded after a few seconds) b) snow on planks
3. NPC's who walk out of a door and into the open sometimes launch out and land a few meters in front of me. Not a big deal, very amusing when it happens.
The one thing that really got him going was the fact that on "adept" difficulty it was easy and then you switch to the next difficulty level and things one shot you, no real scaling. He also said something about monsters having a prefix being godlike while the normal version was not. A bear vs a brown bear sort of thing.
LOL! So it begins :D

Well, dialogue got stucks once but only because I shift-tabbed to Steam. And I had one crash to the desktop. That's it, really.
I am really envious of everyone here. Really wanting to play this game and it is eating me up that I have it but have only played for 2 minutes :(
Lekker! (I need to get myself that Blu-Ray, thanks for the reminder). Ja rolling with a LG LCD FHD 32" at the moment. Does the trick pretty well. Nothing better than those mountains and forests in HD!
Won't tell where the Frost Trolls are, but those are tough buggers! Jeez anyone else having that problem? I see that there are a ton of people who are having that issue. (trying to kill them)
I crashed to desktop about 6 times over the weekend. So I save often. I'm like an auto-save now.
I will check out some of the bug fixes tonight, try that sound one and see if it helps with crashing.
And getting hit by a giant, 100 - 200 meters in the air is fucking awesome!
Also 35 hours, level 20, 6 dragons. Don't ask what type, some had fire, some had frost. I play on Adept and on level 20 everything is fucking difficult to kill, so I don't look at how awesome the dragon is or try to figure out it sub species or what sex it is. I try to survive and kill this bitch before he does me in.
Also my dragons have this nasty habit of coming to attack me when I just leave a dungeon I spent an hour+ in and used up all my mana and healing potions. Not nice and its happened twice already.
I find them all over the place. This one time, in a dwemer ruin, I came through a door and a giant spider- oh, not those bugs.
Incidentally, I'm finding the exact opposite. I've been using light armor from the start, and in the beginning it was like wearing toiler paper. Even a simple encounter with a few spiders could be fatal. Now that I've leveled up, the game is much easier. Dragons are still sometimes an issue, but otherwise, everything seems fine.
I decided to completely change my build now (at level 18). Switching to light armour and trying sneaking. This was brought about by trying some hunting, which is fucking fun. Still using my bound sword and another sword now and then, but using archery too.
Anyone else finding Conjuration levels stupidly fast? It's as high as my one handed now, which I've been using non-stop since the start of the game.
Maybe u have a certain standing stone enabled...?
I love the standing stones.. But on a diff note.. Does anyone else have the marked for death shout yet?
Also.. I constantly sneak.. My sneaks at 78 already... My light armour level is at a mere 47.. I need to get hit more.. XD Are u guys using only archery or only sword? I'm using both with some magic in between.. Dual casting FTW..:P enjoying my chain lightning...:)
I have a question about the game: I want to know what class/race I must choose. I'm usually a run and gun guy, but I want to use swords, bows and spells in this game. Any suggestions?
I went to the Skyrim wiki page and there was something about warriors, mages and thiefs (I think). I just assumed those were classes. Thanks for clearing that up:)
This should help.

:D
I dunno, in the beginning I hated it. I even told Cynikill that it was really detracting from my enjoyment of the game, about half an hour after starting, but now I kinda like it. I'm not sure why. Only thing I want differently is a tab for the quest menu directly from the tab screen. Feels odd having to press escape to get to see my quests.

I call him Pegasus.
Hi guys,
One question that will decide whether I get the game or not. Do I need to have an active steam connection in order to play? I was thinking of getting it for my laptop and playing it when I am up north at work.
All the posts in this thread have got me aching to play!
Omg these posts are making me jealous... c'mon exclus1ves comp!!!! lol
Finally got around to play it. It really is another step up from tes IV and I can say money well spent so far :)
