Yeah, probably will. At the moment I am just walking around the place looking for a fight. I love fighting bandits.
I wish however that you could burn down forests or bushes or trees with fire magic. The more powerful your spell the more you can burn down. It kinda makes the environment more immersible that way.
Found an awesome spell, it's called transmute.. It's an alteration spell that turns iron ore into silver ore and silver ore into gold ore..:D Very usefull...:)
Quick question:
I currently have Faendel as my follower, if i tell him to part ways or do the companion quest where they give me a follower, where does he go? Back to Riverwood? Can i get him back?
If you get the alcamy lab add-on there is a second book case. I love my little house in Whiterun & am in no hurry getting once in solitude since i dont really like that city (yet).
Took down another Dragon last night & unlocked the disarm shout. Keen to try it out.
Clocked my 40th hour in Skyrim last night. got to level 100 in enchant and blacksmithing. I'll just say that the armour you can make is spectacularly powerful. Feels good man. Also the difficulty scaling is just right in my opinion. When I was level 1 I had no problem killing a vampire master, but now that I'. level 42, things aint so easy anymore. Me likey
I find that I never use companions, I prefer going it solo. :)
Those comics are so astute with regards to the difficulty of dragons. They are too easy, I might mod them to be more challenging... I haven't done much of the main quest though maybe they get more difficult... I guess I'll wait to mod their difficulty for a second play through
So glad tomorrow is friday, this 2-3 hours a day of Skyrim time a day killing me. I may pull a 6+ hour one tomorrow evening. Next weekend the Mrs is away for the entire weekend which means there will be no reason to go to bed.... :p
I let them tag along, cause it seems like you can over load them with goodies and still do fast travel. If you are over loaded you can't, so just hand all the loot to him/her and off you go. Then take it back to sell at vendor or put it in your house.
LOL at the comics
I'm walking around with 50 cabbages in my pants, i prolly don't smell very good, perhaps i should make a cabbage stew
I use a companion, but for one simple reason - STORAGE! I always run out of storage, I really miss my full armor set of feather with rings and amulets of feature I made in Oblivion and don't forget my cave exploration spell that had might eye, life detect and feather.
I could probably carry everyone in this threads stuff and still have space to spare.
Man i wish i could pull an all day gaming session.... my BF would not be happy...
noob question: how do you sell something? i havent found a single place where im able to sell stuff. ppl keep trying to sell stuff to me though
Anyone that sells stuff can buy your crap. Example Blacksmith in Riverwood. top will be his name followed by Weapons, Apareal & Misc, then it will show ur character name followed by the same 3 directories. You buy from his, you sell from yours. Make Sense.
Also... read the manual FFS.
I don't know if I'm stupid or anything, but I keep hearing a loud "thud" every couple of seconds and then my controller starts vibrating and I cannot for the life of me figure out where it is coming from. At first I thought it was a dragon attacking, but I can't see one anywhere. I was in Mathrak (think that's what it's called) when it started happening, but I've left and I'm exploring the surrounding area trying to find the source, but no luck. The only other thing I can think of it being is catapults or something since I started the Civil War questline, but I don't see any of them either. Anyone have any ideas?
You haven't maybe been casting any spells, specifically conjuration?
I have heard the same loud thud and I almost had a heart attack while in a dungeon, and I kept hearing it the whole time. I since figured out that when I summon a Fire Atronach once the spell has finished casting a loud thud follows it.
Had to start over since i got my new PC,only lvl7 Breton Mage and i managed to kill 3 frost trolls with the help of my fire atronach and my overcharged flames.
The game is so beautifully-well textured and highly detailed.
Been exploring for hours and hours (and hours and hours).
Gathering and collecting so many items, yet... there's still so much more to do.
And this game is ONLY 5.6GB in size!
How the hell'd they manage that?!
