Buying Xbox 360

Looks like a great deal to me. I say go for it. It's the 250GB one as well, so you won't have to shell out for a HDD later.

And considering that you get a free month gold when you join xbl, you'll effectively have 4 months gold membership before you have to pay for it.

One thing is, I don't know if you're interested in the Kinect at all. If you are, you might want to look around for one that's bundled with a Kinect (and hopefully a 250GB HDD), but it'll be much more expensive. The Kinect by itself is about R2K

Thanks for the info about the membership, will play around with it first before I think about getting the kinect. Just setting it up as I type.

I ended up getting it at Reggies instead for R2699 since IC was showing the same thing for R2899 in shop instead of R2699 as their website states.

Actually was suprisingly easy to setup the Xbox 360 than I thought :D

Yes was the first thing I did and updated my Xbox :D. Eventually found out how to check my profile but keep forgetting to change my name.
