Tomb Raider (PS3)
9/10
Definitely one of the best games of 2013!
Last game I played and completed was GTA V. Having not been a big GTA fan in the past (having only rented a few of the earlier titled to mindlessly fool around), the promotional trailers for this one caught my interest and I decided to purchase it upon release. It took me around 3 months to finish the entire campaign and all side missions with only playing every other weekend (due to my hectic work schedule). I will say I was quite blown away by the game and officially understand what all the fuss is about. The attention to detail is incredible and I often spent entire days not really progressing much with the main campaign as there is just so much to do. 10/10 for sure and will definitely be purchasing every new GTA in future!

Awesome client with a good community. Until you hit a rating and then certain things become expected.
I can't stop playing matches so I have to give it a 9/10. One of the best rts games I have ever played just wish cnc evolved to this level.
Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter
Ah Serious Sam. Brings back memories. I remember at some stage when I was younger I played this and really struggled with it. Now it's not that bad. Tons and tons of enemies coming at you and you shoot them. A simple concept and it's not a game that will win awards but it does have its appeal.

Right, just finished NeverWinter Nights 2. When I first tried to play this game upon release my PC could barely handle it. Upon finishing it now I realise my old PC had done me boon of note. This game is terrible. And it isnt terrible just because it is innately bad(which it is); however it's main fault lies in the fact that literally everything about it is the very definition of mediocrity. It's almost like they took every RPG trope available to man; chopped them up; added panda shit and served it up piping hot.
Worst. Experience. Ever
[And buggy too]
The last game I finished was Batman Arkham Origins, very good 8/10.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.
This is a difficult game to review. See, I loved the Prince of Persia trilogy. Each of the games had some flaw but the story was rich and games were filled with atmosphere and excellent puzzles. Then came Prince of Persia (4) and it was a cartoony thing where you couldn't die. I enjoyed that one too even if not as much as the first three.
Now you get The Forgotten Sands. And truth be told you can see that they tried very hard with this game. You can see the polish and the hard work on the puzzles and environments. The game looks great. Some parts were truly spectacular. However. And I hate saying it, the game has no real character. No great story and no atmosphere. It's as if they tried but didn't truly understand how to do it. The game feels incredibly formulaic. Doing everything by the book but not understanding how it should all fit together.
It's short too and surprisingly easy. Though I'm happy with the easy part. I clocked it in 8 hours. The final battle bit was really fun and very pretty! But then the ending comes and even the ending bit after the credits were truly disappointing. The main character says some things and it sounds like he is going to continue but then he doesn't and suddenly it's back to the title screen.
They so almost had this game right! Some parts really were great but overall it was mediocre.

You obviously have not gotten onto the multiplayer yet...
As a competitive player the build quality and flow of maps is terrible, my graphics are also terrible which puts me at a huge disadvantage during gameplay.
My rating would have to be a 4.5/10
Waste of my money D:
True, tried multiplayer a little but not too long, just to check out the new game modes, will play more after my holiday. So do you think it's better than bf4?
