Assassin's Creed III
Awesome game, great combat and stunning graphics! It was a let down though :(. Even though Ubi expanded Desmond's story it was still lack-luster at best, and the ending for Desmond... Well I won't spoil it for anyone but it deserved so much more, especially considering it was the ending to the AC trilogy. The game had too many bugs, something that no previous AC game (Except for AC1, maybe, I can't remember) struggled with. The OST is amazing though!

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron
WOW, I don't quite know how to explain this game... First off, the game is absolutely gorgeous!! It was one of the best art directions I've seen in any game, seriously, it's like playing a game while high on LSD . It's a heavy hack-'n-slash like God of War, but the combat is indeed solid. The story can be extremely confusing if you don't Google the texts that the game is based on, but once you do it makes for an interesting (If ultimately empty) story. But wow, the art is just amazing, it's seriously the main attraction of the game. One minute you'll be platforming 2D style, to fighting a huge Nephilim in a hell like world to crusing on a highway at break-neck speed while fending of robots! It seriously blew my mind!

Dishonored
Wonderfully made game, very few bugs that I've found.
Great concepts.
A little lacking in explanation of the games kill system (What constitutes a kill, what doesn't)
I'd give it a solid 8.5
Hitman Absolution
So I have no idea how to rate this game. Usually I'm a big fan of games with a good story and overall this is a good game (worth the money of buying it new) and although the story isn't bad, it does limit the game somewhat. I'm glad I played this game, but I hope the next game will go back to the mission-based style of game like Blood Money with proper objectives, weapon customisation, the works.
I do have a couple of issues with the game though that can be quite irritating.
- Some issues with the AI logic that I had hoped would be better
- Checkpoint saves... It only remembers the targets that you've killed. Anyone else killed or items picked up is reset.
- Starting weapons... the guy basically walks through a door from the one level to the next and then the weapons that were picked up are gone and you start with the wire and pistols
- Quicktime events
- Score system... but that's just me. In the sniper challenge, you got points for taking out bodyguards but here you lose points if you take out anyone else but the main target... and when I play an assassin, I do tend to like leaving a trail of bodies (well hidden of course)
But still, I'd probably rate this game around 7 or 8 out of 10... somewhere around there. If I've never played Blood Money and didn't have any expectations, perhaps the score would have been higher.
From what I understand though, in the Contracts mode, you can buy different weapons, etc. so perhaps I'd give that a go rather than replaying the game later on.
After 52 Hours I finally finished Borderlands 2 co-op. Much better ending that the original and very tempting to restart on True Vault Hunter Difficulty and do it all again.
Best Autumn release thus far.
Prototype 2
It's a good game... It took me a little while to get into it (cause I was used to some of the things in the 1st game), but at the end of the day, I'd say it's better than Prototype 1.
Assassin's Creed 3: Xbox 360 - 8/10
After finally finding the time to play AC III I must say that I was quite impressed with the whole new 'feel' to the game. Brand new setting, new characters, new time zone. It made me more intrigued and interested in playing the game after a lengthy Ezio Trilogy. The game starts off slowly and I personally didn't mind it as it gave me time to learn more about the characters in the game. The new and simplified combat system takes some time and practice to get used to but it is a much welcomed change. The tree-climbing is a great addition and is integrated quite well into the game. The game is packed with stuff to do besides the main missions and the areas that you visit are large and expanse.
Connor's story is gripping and gets you right into what's happening in his world. Whereas Desmond's story shows development but lacks an ending that the character deserves. Overall I enjoyed AC III but I think that more work could have been given regarding the endings of both characters.
