F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin: 85%
Gameplay is a notable improvement. Mostly for me, the forced burst fire is gone witch I allways hate. And I loved the mech section.
Story wise it felt lacking compared to the 1st one and its expantions, and it was scary at 1st, but it quickly faded away, it became too predictable. Also teenage zombie Alma doesn't seem as scary as red dress Alma if thats the only one you ever meet.
Portal
It's certainly a unique game and its level design is outstanding. The story and ending are also brilliant. However, it's crazy short. I finished it in under four hours. So there's a reason why it came with the Orange Box. If anyone hasn't played it yet then it's really worthwhile trying it out.

Call of Duty 6 - Modern Warfare 2 - 25%
It simply isn't Call of Duty anymore. Everything feels incomplete and altered beyond recognition. Even CoD4 that was completely different from the WW2 ones still felt like it's series.

Pros:
- Great dialogue.
- A truly refreshing feeling to the setting on most accounts.
- Largely enjoyable cast.
Cons:
- Sub par AI and level design in regards to combat.
- Cast and story felt lacking in some cases.
- Probing planets for resources... shudder.
Certainly worth a buy for any 3rd person action adventure fans.
Dante's Inferno
9/10
just had so much fun with this game!
Killzone2 - 8/10...great game! awesome visuals, great boss fight, decent difficulty! If you own a PS, play this!;)
Dante's Inferno
wow. just finished it. i enjoyed the title for what it was without thinking myself stupid it will be a ME2 or GOW killer.
75/100 meta i agree, but personally i would give it 8/10 as it delivers exactly for what it was meant to be.
Last night I managed to finish Darksiders which I still regret as I only got into bed at 4 this morning. But after defeating the final boss and watching the ending, which by the way is left wide open for a sequel remember, War is but one of the Four Horsemen. I was very impressed with this highly underrated titles. I know I have compared Darksiders a lot to Legend of Zelda: Ocarina in the past. But for me, that’s a good thing. Because as a stand alone game Darksiders is original enough in the story and character design department that any other derivative aspects of the game seem more like an homage than a rip off to me. The 360 version has a slight problem of screen tearing on release day but it got a patch that fixed it a month after its release. Darksiders is a quality game and comes highly recommended to anyone who loves his/her Zelda, DevilMayCry and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver games. Now Vigil Games how about a sequel?
Solid 4/5
Heavy Rain (9/10) : Why didnt it get 10? Plot holes and frame rate drops, BUT make no mistake this WILL be the most interesting game you play for a long time! There is everything from fights, taking a dump, nudity, knockin' boots, drugs....ALLES! It got a 90+ Metacritic rating and I suggest you believe the hype. Its that good!:D
Dragon Age: Origins 8/10
Borderlands 9/10 (Co-op with my mate was awesome)
A bit late but just finished - Call of Duty: MW2
Its been slated for not having a very long campaign mode but it hits the spot for me - I dont have enough time to play for hours on end and I didnt have a problem jumping in and out of the action every few days or so. The story is great and really has that epic feel to it which keeps you wanting to come back and finish it off.
Its also the first COD i havnt played on a PC and was a bit worried at first but its been tweaked well I think to suit the console. The snap-to aiming helps keep the action flowing which i think console gaming is all about. All in all - a great addition to the COD franchise - 9/10
Cod mw2 I finished it in like a few hours. i havent played a fps like that ina long time.
Reinvigorated my love of FPS.
I give it a 9/10.
holy f***ing s*** would be an understatement for mass effect 1. just finished the 26 hours of epic trip though this awesome space opera. well worth the time and money spent, deservingly getting a 9/10 from my side.
/onto mass effect 2
Aliens vs Predator 10/10
Just awesome.. That's all.
AvP: 90%
Marines: Standard horror FPS. Survival. Great story line and fun game play for the most part. However there were quite a few points where I wished there was a crouch button.
Aliens: Great fun, wouldn't change a thing there gameplay wise. Just wish there could be an opportunity to play as that Empress you become at the end, even for a little bit.
Predator: Again. It's awesome. The story is intriguing and really emphasises what I love most about the Predator race. That sence of primal honnor. Gameplay is fantastic, but again, I miss the crouch button, and I miss that needle rifle from AVP2. The targeting system for jumping I really enjoy, makes the action alot smoother and really makes a difference in fights.
Graphics: Overrated. My system just barely breached the minimum requirements (even my CPU is falling short) but I can still run it on maximum Dx9 settings (using XP so Dx10/11 is not avalable.) But it was still nice eye candy.
Overall: Great game. Just a little on the short side given the game is 15 freaking Gigs. What hell did they use all that space on?
Uncharted 2 - 98% !!
Stunning graphics, never got bored of gameplay.. Loved the comedy in between as well. Busy jamming Borderlands at the moment and digging it as well..Was about to sell it when i first tried it but decided to give it another go..
Dead Space 9/10
What can I say that everyone doesn't know?
This game is awesome! There are no cliched scares, never did I feel like I'm doing the same boring thing over and over. The atmosphere is dark and scary and every step you take builds up on the anticipation that something really really bad is about to happen.... And even though you know something is going to happen, you are NEVER ready for the horror that follows. A true Survival Horror master piece and a must-have for all lovers of this genre.
Well I just finished Darksiders. I thought it was addictive. Just had to go on and on playing it until I was finished with the game. Well I would give it a rating of 9. it looked good, played good, and felt good.
White Knight Chronicles PS3
Single Player:
Pretty short, about 20 odd hrs roughly which is short for a JRPG. The story and characters are nothing that interesting and the overall game is very very easy. You need to complete it to gain access to all the online quests.
Online:
This is where the game can shine. There is a LOT to accomplish here. From building towns (Georama's) to gain access to new gear and materials. You can also go to others towns to gather / buy materials you do not have access to which is great. Joining up with 3 others for questing can be pretty fun to be sure, but it is easy-mode till further into your Guild Rank progression.
Guild Rank progression is earned by completing quests either solo-offline, or online with others. Needless to say online is faster and the later quests, once your Guild Rank is high enough, can NOT be solo'd at all. The game feels a lot like a MMO-lite which some people will love while others will hate it.
There are so many upgrades to ones gear it can be overwhelming. The materials can either be bought from your or others towns (Georama's) if they have sufficient town stats (which you build up). Or through killing mobs and gathering nodes in the wilderness / town nodes. Some of the rarer materials can only be gotten from high rank quests bosses however.
You can also rebirth, which is basically a re-specialization with added benefits. Doing so allows one to try a new build plus gain access to more skillpoints. How it works is at lvl 50 you can rebirth back down to lvl 35, keeping ALL your skillpoints thus far. Now you can gain even more skillpoints as you level back up to 50. This is only effective up to 4 times, but you can rebirth as many times as you want after if you want to try new builds.
Conclusion:
The game is certainly not for everyone, in fact I would not suggest it to non-JRPG lovers, people who cannot deal with a solid grind, or do not have access to online gaming.

Personal Rating - 7.5 since I love grinding in these games.
Bad Company 2: 80% - down a bit right now because of the server and login issues... but will probably increase soon :D
Heavy Rain: 98% Won't go into any details in fear os spoiling something for somebody. This is truly one of the best gaming experiences I have had in my life. Awesome story, great graphics, but most importantly it's something completely fresh in a somewhat stale market. Everybody who own a PS3 should have this in their collection, if you don't have a PS3 now is the perfect time to get one. With this out now and GoW III out next week there has never been a better time to buy a PS3. (Make sure you also pick up Demon's Souls when you get that PS3 :p)
Lost: Via Domus
Man they could have done so much with this game. It feels like a wasted opportunity. Wasn't that bad though and I'm glad I finally played it.

Assasins'S Creed 2 9/10
Really enjoyed playing this game, a huge improvement on the first game.
Uncharted Drakes Fortune
9/10
Simply awesome, finished it 2 days but brilliant. Now for number 2 :)
Dragon Age:Origins
There are few better ways to spend 70-odd hours.
It has been too long since I enjoyed a game this much or lost track of time while playing one.
While the game may have its flaws, overall, it was quite an experience and I look forward to
playing the other Origin stories as well as DA:Awakening. While I would have preferred it is Bioware/EA
had not tried to wring more money out of the came in the form of DLC [Would it have hurt them that
much to have included it in the game proper?], I shall still give this RPG 9/10 and the Phoenix Seal of Approval.
Final Fantasy XIII
In short I will say this game was a serious disappointment. I do not buy into hype, in fact I avoid it as far as trying not to reading previews or watching pre-release vids. I had very little preconception before playing this game.
Lets see where to start... Well the game looks fantastic. I remember watching CG videos for some JRPG's quite some time back, and wishing ingame could look so good. Well, the time is pretty much here. The characters look largely amazing. From the hair, to some of the finer details on their cloths and their facial animations. It smacks of polish. This quality is however a little let down by the sometimes obvious, 'blocky' limbs, but that was never a real issue. The voice acting is hit and miss, some characters are great while others are utterly terri-bad. Music wise the game is decent with a few memorable songs.
This iteration in the series did not feel like a true Final Fantasy to me personally. So many things felt like they were lacking. First off any open world feel is ditched for a significantly linear one. Most of the game you will be running down almost corridors in one direction - This game is on rails. There was also a severe lack of complexity here. The character stat progression is flat, and the upgrade options for items are the same. Stat-wise there are only 3: Hit Points, Intelligence and Strength.
Now to the combat system. You will be spending most of the game mashing X with the Auto Battle option, changing it up mid-battle using the L1 button to change Paradigms (Combat Roles) as needed. Trust me, once you get over the initial fake speed, the combat becomes shallow pretty fast. Seldom arises the need to input specific commands since the Auto Battle option pretty much does it for you picking the best options. The combat difficulty does not help here either, the game in my opinion is pretty damn easy. Sure you will die, but it is often fairly easily overcome, and most battles come down to time and not skill. Another niggle I had is that the world, which seems amazing, never seems to be dealt with properly. One never gets a true feeling for the world or its inhabitants. This is likely due to the linear nature of the game.
In closing. Being a long running fan of the Final Fantasy series, I am sad to see this steady decline in the franchise. It feels like more and more games are being made for the lowest common denominator, which makes business sense, but it hurts the longterm fans. The game feels like so much has been missed out. There are some side missions available at Chapter 11, but they are tedious and unimaginative. There is no real incentive to do them, such as being able to kill that 'Uber' boss like in the previous games.
I will say I had fun overall, but nothing that will make this a classic in the slightest. The game is fairly long - 40-50hrs for the main story, and maybe another 20 odd hrs for the missions, so it is good value for money.
Perhaps they need to take a hint and finally make it - THE Final Fantasy.

AVP Multiplayer: 75%
Much like in my last rating. Great fun, but I miss crouching for the humans and predators. But I know why the server is almost allways empty, it's not really that captivating at all. Maybe if a bots mod comes out, since the style can easily be emulated by them.
Saw - 6/10
Graphics - Poor
Gameplay - It started out OK, but then quickly becomes repetitive
Storyline - After playing the game, I'm still trying to figure that out
On a side note, I enjoyed some of the puzzels which I will probably replay at times.
Assasins Creed 2 PC 85/100
Graphics: Good
Gameplay: Excellent, the repetitiveness of ac 1 is gone. Also love the villa manegemtn.
Storyline: Great.
god of war 3
10/10
truly epic
God of War3...Okay, Ill be honest. Upon inserting the game into my PS3 the graphics was kinda...uhmm not spectacular:eek:....BUT after delfing deeper I found it to be top notch! Believe the hype. The game was EPIC and NO OTHER GAME has this much scale! The boss battles are truly mind blowing! If Xbox owners ever doubted the PS3 play this game coz everything else pales in comparison!
My rating is 9.8/10! Why not 10/10? Well I believe there is still some room for improvement, though not much!
The last game I finished was Dragon Age: Origins for PS3.
Gameplay was brilliant. Story and side quests were mature and in depth.
Graphics good for an RPG but pretty average compared to other titles.
Characters are memorable.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 (9/10)
The multiplayer is so addictive :D.
Finally got round to finishing Modern Warfare 2 - i'll give it a 9/10 for intensity and storyline but since Makarov was still not dealt with i'll give it an overall rating of 8/10. :) Busy with BC2 now but I'm missing the British flavour thus far ;/
Battlefield : Bad Company 2. (8/10)
Very good game, not better than the first but excellent none the less.
Battlefield : Bad Company 2 [Multiplayer]. (8.5/10)
