I'm inclined to agree with that as well. It is awfully convenient to just store your info and then buy with a single click.
To be honest, I can't really decide what I'd prefer. Be lazy or more secure.
At the very least they shouldn't store all info, as I know many places do.
I remember Play.com not even giving an option to not save card info, let alone delete it after a purchase. I hate that, a lot.
Well a decent compromise is to store your CC number but require your CCV to be entered each time, hence you only need to remember 3 digits while still reducing the risk of stolen information.
Yeah its the like with google gmail and youtube now I really don't my email mixed with my youtube thats just messed up.
Would still prefer a box that gives you the option of removing your CC information after purchase than have it stored (with or without the CCV).Quote:

Yeah no you should ALWAYS get the choice between having your details stored or not but even when you choose to have it stored it should still always ask for the CCV.
Both Steam and Google Checkout/Wallet (whatever it wants to call itself these days) store your CCV details. I agree that they shouldn't but I think that's where the convenience of using a trusted (and repeatedly used) service comes into play. Hell, Amazon doesn't even ASK for your CCV code.Quote:

I think it just boils down to only ever giving your credit card details to a trusted service instead of throwing it around whatever dark recess on the internet tickles your fancy *cough* :p
