COD Modern warfare 3 breaks $1 Billion in just 16 days.

I am very impressed. I personally have never really played any of the games for longer then 5 minute intervals due to my weird motion sickness thing, so don't really know the fuss but... WOW. That is good.
Just wish it was like that with more games.

Agreed, but I have to say, hats off to activision, they made a map pack and made this much money from it !!! Now that is some good business practice exploiting their fanboys and girls!

Well the Singleplayer is the only thing thats good about it.still a bit too much just for a singleplayer game.

Well I only have a KD of 0.88 (played around 35hours or so), and I still freaken love the game! Plus I haven't even played the singleplayer at all - multiplayer ftw.

Single player is really decent (sweet ending as well), although they've never topped the original Modern Warfare.

Average price of MW3 game: $60
Average price of Avatar movie ticket: $8

Hmm, let's see:

$1000000000 divided by $60 = 166 666 67 copies of MW3 sold

&

$1000000000 divided by $8 = 125 000 000 movie tickets sold.

So to compare the two is a stupid comparison.

As for the game itself, well after winning a copy of MW3 and about 30% of the way through the SP and not having touched the MP yet, I can safely say that BF3 is the better game by a universal mile!
