Has anyone ever played Valkyria Chronicles on the PS3? I saw this game today for a decent price and I'm considering getting it. I just wanna know whether it's worth my money.
I love me some RPG's so I'm pretty sure it'll be worth it, but I just want the opinion of someone who has actually played it.
Dunno about that, but Eternal Sonata is pretty damn awesome :D
Yeah I saw Eternal Sonata and it looks pretty sweet too, but Valkyria Chronicles is like R200 cheaper at the moment and I don't really have cash. (Was planning on mooching off my mother or brother until payday :) )
Valkyria Chronicles = Awesome
Just note its a SJRPG, S meaning Strategy.
It's one of the best if not THE best JRPG's this gen IMO.

I have it for the PS3 and what a great game it is :). The story is fantastic and the graphics are amazing. It's more of a Tactical RPG than an standard RPG. I also bought the DLC which is totally worth it.
Please clarify for me if you can. Just how much strategy is involved? I'm not to keen on RTS games, as a matter of fact I kinda hate them. :confused: This is not like a hybrid RTS/JRPG game is it? I'm looking for a nice JRPG to keep me busy until Uncharted 2 comes out. If the strategy in this game is not too "RTS-like" I definately wanna get itQuote:

Turn based that would result in the game being much like metal gear acid on PSP the entire game is based on turns and a card system, but i am guess this game has no card system then?
