I don't know how many of you played the original Sniper Elite from 2005, but its one of my favourite games ever. There will soon be a sequel to this called Sniper Elite V2. Amazon has it as a May release and After seeing THIS on Destructiod I am even more excited.

I loved the original. Hopefully they make this a proper sequel and not just the original with more gore and pretty graphics tacked on.
As I understand it they are building on what the original did. But it has a new story.Quote:

Sniper Elite was an awesome game. Still love that bullet cam on the long range shots. I remember it being the most realistic game at the time in terms of ballistic damage, V2 looks like it'll raise the bar on that.
Jeesh, I'm embarrassed to say I've never even heard of it. Looks super cool - if its reasonably priced I'm keen.
Only played the demo. Didn't impress me enough to buy the game.
I never actually saw it in retail in SA, I got my copy for Original Xbox here in the UK. So I guess its possible that its slipped into obscurity due to it not really being a main stream game. Its anti-run and gun with huge focus on stealth and timing with simulator like bullet physics, bullet drop, wind, everything played a part.Quote:
