Incoming Battlefield 3 patch details

Mortars, VOIP, M-COM ribbons and more expected to be tweaked in latest update

i wonder how big the patch is gonna be this time round.

I think it's about 4GB again. That's what I heard someone say. I'll try and find an official source though.

Doesnt make sense to be that big unless it's coming packed with DLC again. My guess is +/- 400MB, but it's just a guess.

Surely it depends on the size of the file the changes were made in.

You would think so but a lot of the game assets tie into each other so even changing that 300Kb script could mean having to update 100MB worth of files...

Roughly 2GB I reckon. Unfortunately BF3 was sold unfinished and not properly tested, so there will be massive patches and fixes for a long time to come.

That is a big patch for issues only.....
