Anyone watching Under the Dome? Really enjoying it. Not Sci Fi / Horror like they call it, but still intriguing.

Hi y'all, I have a question... What series would you recommend me to get for my parents to watch? Series I got them before was Lost, which they enjoyed, the walking dead (i thought this might be a stretch but they liked this o.O - enjoyed them killing the evil dead I guess), House, CSI something, Dontown Abbey (mom still has odd feelings against the English for the Boer war so I was rather surprised that she would enjoy this series as much as she did... go figure)... I'm running out of ideas because I myself don't watch TV as I have the internets, and TV bores me. I like the odd movie now and then, but I'd rather read a book, then spend my life on something that gets stretched out and stretched out ad finitum and might never end satisfactorily.
Please remember I cannot show them game of thrones because of all the dwarf porn and questionable practices, so it must be something you can watch with them without cringing at the dubious scenes hehe. Violence is fine, but nothing that would shock "stoere boere mense"
I'm thinking of getting them Monk, but that is a lot of series right there. Hours of downloading... Same with NCIS...
Also got some really old mini series like Thornbirds, and Rich Man Poor Man that they enjoyed very much... So if you can think of something old I can find online that would be nice too.
A series I thought might be kosher was Dexter, as I had watched the first 3 eps and found the premise promising and I enjoyed what I saw. Then I gave them the first season, got home and watched eps 4, where there was tits and sexual content! argh! I had to apologize and now have the disclaimer that I cannot be held responsible for the adult content/violence/dubious doings and goings on in the series as I have not watched it beforehand.
Watched Season 3 of Workaholics. It's addictive.
Just started watching Headgames. I find these kinds of programmes that shows how people work quite interesting.

Not really a series, more like a 2-part documentary.. but...
Derren Brown - Fear and Faith
That guy is awesome.
Axe Cop. it's completely illogical, random, bizarre, weirdness.... but I like it :D
Want to get my hands on space: above and beyond again
ya! I loved space above and beyond. Pity they did not go further with that... alas...
Thanx for the recommendations Viper. Getting stuff for other people isn't fun, especially if you haven't watched it yourself.
Finally got to watching The Following, ZOMG that show is good !!!
