Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson
Currently busy with Book2: The Great Hunt. It isn't my first read through though, but I want to read it again because there is just so much stuff in the books. I am already picking up on a lot of things this time round. So damn good.
After I finished the Wheel of Time series, I read the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. It was also really, really good.
Read more of Sanderson's stuff the Mistborn books continue with Alloy of Law, Shadows of Self, and The Bands of Mourning. Different set of characters with a different era in the future.
I recently The Unhewn Throne series by Brian Staveley. Consisting of The Emperor's Blades, Providence of Fire, and The Last Mortal Bond. Holy crap this series hit me out of nowhere with how brilliant it is. Especially considering how it actually doesn't scratch my complex magic itch as much as a Brandon Sanderson, Brent Weeks, Peter V Brett, or Patrick Rothfuss book would but it is a brilliant series
The Bill of Rights Handbook, 821 pages of pure joy o_O. I only "have" to read 300 pages though, whoop dee doodle do....
I read, Who Moved my Share Price? All roads lead to ROAM or Ruin
Was interesting, I'd never really heard of the concept of Return on assets managed before. DieGrootHammer have you come across that term during your studies?
I have, but not yet in details. It forms part of the curriculum of our Financial Management part in our next class block.
It is however a very interesting concept, one that is difficult to wrap your head around because we've been conditioned to look at financial performance as a measure of Income Statement and Balance Sheet health. It's the reason why we get taught all those different ratios to calculate the various areas of performance. ROAM forms part of one of those ratios, and tells a really interesting story, one that can lead to much better management of working capital within the business. Further studying is needed for me to get a clear understanding though, as right now I know how to do the calculations, how to interpret the results and what is means for the company. There are still a lot of nuances that I'd love to know more about it.
just finished reading the Warcraft movie prequel. So now I am totally ready for watching the movie this weekend.
Next up is a book about Illidan ^_^
Playboy by Hugh Hefner
So Im currently reading House of thunder by Dean Koontz.
Very good so far and I can't quite figure out the plot yet but I'm sure it's gonna be awe some, as well as slightly confusing.
Ive also challenged myself to complete all the dean koontz and stephen king novels I own by the end of this year (+-44) would anyone like to join me in this adventure?
