I was gonna give Transformers: Fall of Cubertron a skip seeing as all the previous attempts were pretty much shit xD But after reading that I changed my mind, actually looking forward to the game now and it could be brilliant.

This article The 10 most exciting games still due out in 2011 had me melt, since it was when I started prepping myself for the release of Arkham city and wow it was it all worth the wait!! :D

I found the statistics very interestring and I was horrified at the sims placing second in PC gaming.
The fact that people still play the sims is more than I can comprehend.

Well since most games are heading online it is always a good idea to know which isp provides the best value for money. Plus, because I have studied marketing, it is always interesting to see how the market affects pricing policies of each company and how they react to the changing market.

I agree with them on a lot of their anticipated titles that they want to see at Gamescom 2012 eg. New Console details, The Last of Us, MGS 5 etc. But I would like to add a few more such as Deadpool, The Last Guardian, Agent, The Walking Dead FPS, Insane, Marvel vs Capcom Origins, Wasteland 2 and hopefully anything from CD Projekt.

For this is one of those articles that really defines gamers and gaming. People often view gamers sitting in front of a screen wasting there time but it isn't. Gamers are out there exploring their world, finding "easter eggs" and sharing them back with the world. How often these days do people actually go out exploring these days vs gamers?
There is also the fact that their is an entire world for gamers to immerse themselves in, essentially a hobby that we can plug into to escape for our troubles. Some people have music, models, painting, writing, collecting, sport and we have gaming.
Lastly these secrets show something about the people who design games. I often find it amazing how developers leave these secrets coded in for us to find. They put in this extra effort so we have a better experience and it says something about their work, in both attention to detail and pride in their work.
My point in all this is that we are part of an amazing industry with dedicated developers and some seriously enthusiastic members.
Btw this thread is also a great way to highlight some great articles.
