Extremely useful information. No real gamer can make an informed decision without considering the info in this article :)

http://mygaming.co.za/news/news/4242...e-pricing.html
I did the same research last week, when I was thinking of moving my ADSL line, and came to the exact same amounts. Kind of wish that I had waited a few days, then I wouldn't had to do all the work myself and would have benefited from promotions that started today. Funny how the world works sometimes.
<This is an amazing prize. Would love to be on the receiving end of this competition.>

To me is was the article regarding the pricing of SSD's:
http://mygaming.co.za/news/pc/41903-...-compared.html
I've always been interested in them, but back when i last checked they were still way overpriced. Since reading this article i took the plunge and invested in the Vertex 3.
I have to say, the performance gain was mind blowing. startup times and load times are a fraction of what it used to be. Even loaded some of my most played games like Battlefield 3 and the load times are amazing.
Would definitely recommend it.

I like the convenient way that I can compare all the ISP's without having to scour the web by myself.

Gaming Vs. Audiophile Headphones
Choosing the right headphones is very important.
Taking into account a pair that doesn't fully support what it is you want your headphones to produce can be troublesome, cause, that is the set you gonna sit with for quite a few months, if not years.
Headphone choosing is completely the individuals choice, but choosing wrongly may just lead to disappointments.

I'm in the market for a new set of phones for gaming and music, so for me this was the perfect article

we only have wireless providers where I live (no adsl), so this was quite informative to me.

Showed me just how expensive it still is to switch over to a SSD.

My old Sennheiser served me well but it is time for a replacement. Maybe I will go for the HD555 this time.

Very convenient!

This is a terribly boring article about a terrible game. James should have made a 'Whisper Unboxing' video of it like this:

Don't ask me how I find this crap.

http://mygaming.co.za/news/news/4189...is-coming.html
Being an avid gamer myself, though pretty average at most of them, one has to wonder what sort of pricing structure we will be looking at once this becomes available to Joe Public. Low latency and tremendous uplink and download speeds will be most welcome. This is also not something that will be readily available in all areas. Given the track record of the mobile operators when it comes to new technology I suspect that this will be far more expensive than ADSL. And when this is launched we will also have to see how Telkom have progressed in upgrading their fixed line offerings. Until then here is holding thumbs. I am one for moving forward with new technology and offerings, but not at the cost of ripping off the consumer. We are so far behind in terms of internet and internet related products, it would be nice to see something like this being very cost effective for the consumer.

This article interested me as I have always tried to get the biggest display possible for PC use. After using a 27" iMac for months and then reverting back to PC, I had to get something the same size or bigger. I ended up with a 32" TV and it works great. I always advise people to try spend a little extra and get a 32" TV, it makes your gaming experience that much more exciting.

Found this quite useful since I don't really keep up with the hardware and price changes. I'll be keeping an eye on the SSD prices from now on, now that I know the prices are dropping.

http://mygaming.co.za/news/features/...the-world.html
That was absolutely fascinating...
We are becoming better and better....always nice to measure ourselves vs "the world"....
Especially when you look at how gamers are continually being forced onto the net, a lot of gamers have had to cough up and get adsl lines + cap(unlimited) to get games through steam/xbox live/PS network...games like diablo forced us to get internet...and there were a ton of ppl moaning about low "ping" & lag etc.
This article showed us that we were better than even germany when it comes to quality internet connections...blowed my mind! and the germans are always better than xyz....yeah yeah, we beat 'ya!
Thanks for the comp!

This one sparked my interest as I had the one failed Transformer Title that was released on Xbox about 2 years ago! With such huge potential the developers of the Movie game failed to really leverage such a strong franchise. This article gave me a sparkle of hope! Been catching up with more and more of myGaming articles keep up the great work all!

Article: The Amazing Spiderman Retrospective
I like this particular read a lot because it gave us as the readers a better look at what made Spiderman games great back then, what were the hit Spidey games and what failed to grab our attention as well. It was a nicely set out article with a good trip down memory lane. As a Spiderman fan such as myself, I simply couldn't resist NOT reading this. Just loved the way this article was done! Good read! :)

http://mygaming.co.za/news/hardware/...uy-an-ssd.html
This is and will be life changing for everyone. It was for me. Buying an using an SSD was the same sort of thing for me as getting my 1st proper Riva TNT gfx card or changing from an old CRT monitor to a big widescreen LCD. Yes it might be a bit expensive atm, but once you go there you will never be going back to the gold way.
It really is something you need to experience :)

Uncapped ADSL speed upgrade pricing
Pricing here looks terrible but you must remember that most of these ISP's offer line and data bundles which will save you a bit on the prices shown here.

Would love to win this for my brothers

I've had constant debates with friends around which headphones are best, and it's amazing how opinionated everyone is, this article sums it up quite nicely.
In the past I've found that headphones tends to be one of those peripherals that you only tend to replace if they break, so I prefer to spend a bit more and read loads of reviews before I make a decision.
Funny thing is I've always gone with Sennheiser, for my cans and in-ear earphones, and I've had both for years and they still sound amazing :)

I liked this article because i use a cell c stick to play online and 95% of the time it works very well. I keep tabs on these kind of articles because i`m directly affected by it due to my current internet connection i use. Also it being cost efficient works for me. on the other hand 8ta seems to have the best pricing packages so i might be moving over to them soon

I'd been looking to get uncapped for a while, when I stumbled onto this article. It was very helpful and it encouraged me to buy a 1Mbps ADSL account from MWEB. I am extremely happy with it and I owe it all to you Mygaming:) Keep up the excellent work;)

I just really love FIFA, especially FIFA13, well because it seems to be awesome so far.
Like every FIFA, it is always mind blowing.Especially this year, with all this new features and adjustments, we'll definitely pummel PES into a bloody soccer pulp and will continue our reign as supreme football game champions!
I would be honored to win this competition.
thank you MyGaming

I was kinda expecting a bit more (although this was a first impression). The idea of working together and hijacking a helicopter sounds CRAZY awesome though. :D

It was actually a toss up between this and the screens.
But I decided on this as the screens I am more leaning towards a projector as well and the article only gave a brief overview. do a whole spread on projectors and let's talk :)
So for now, what headphones to get has my vote, late night gaming and keeping it loud :D
