i actually found THE case review the most interesting article since i am planning to buy a new case but it would have been nice if they mentioned market prices for hardware reviews

good read, being in the market for a new system as mine is almost 5 years old now and starting to show its age.
I did however feel that the article could have done with a little more info on the chips being featured which
would have given much more meaning to the prices being showcased and not just a numbers comparison.

I found this article particularly interesting as my current GPU is broken and the suppliers did not have stock of my card and could not provide me with an indication of when they would get stock and my only option was to upgrade to a card that was significantly more than my current card.

I know I'm placing two links on my entry but they go together and to be fair there is a link in the first sentence on the AMD article.

Why I choose these two is simply because this was the birth of the dual processor GPU cards and its really interesting to read though their development. The other interesting thing is that Nvidia bought the right to this technology in 1998 from 3dfx with voodoo2 but these dual cards only came out in 2005. Check out this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scalable_Link_Interface for an in depth history article with dates, facts and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, with a link to AMD's development.
BTW I have been looking for a new case myself so this will certainly save my budget.

This article does make me ashamed. In the day and age we are living, I have not even the half of capacity of those HD's mentioned. Going to tell you a secret here, one I do not share often, with anyone. I still have a 150gb harddrive. Shameful!! This article has convinced me though to start looking for something a big bigger, seeing as I have been starting to have major problems with space lately. Thank you Mygaming for pulling me out of this hole of ignorance.
