Patch is live,the new stuff is pretty expensive.lost a game in my dragon and 80,000cb but the repair bill was 175,000cb.
still dont know how to change my weapon groups but maybe hen i actually buy my own mech ill be able to set them up :P
You should be able to set them up already,they are essential in any mech.
Use the arrow keys and right ctrl.
Left and right arrow keys is to select a weapon group and up and down is to select a weapon.
Lets say i start with a mech with only one weapon
I would use the up and down arrow keys to select the weapon and then use the left and right arrow keys to select the weapon group and then i would press right ctrl to assign the weapon to that weapon group.

I see the D-DC has a command console. What the heck is that?
Also, is it wise to go with an XL Engine in an Assault mech? If your torso gets popped you're dead. Higher chance of dying no?
I must have a chat with you some time when you are available. Work out a strat for us and I'll build accordingly me thinks ;)
The command console is what it says,when you press B to open the map you can also open the command console top left to give orders on the fly.it's usefull for pubs where you don't have guys on TS but mostly the players will just ignore it.(they don't like sitting still much so they end up dying one by one when they go over a hill with a ton of enemies at the other side)
Cool,Most people run an XL in an Atlas to free up space.By the time you lose a torso you are probably close to death even without an XL engine.
Do note that the XL engine is expensive to repair on larger mechs.
