NFS Shift get's first patch.

I don't have any crashes but mine would lag a bit when i break to go around a corner some times its very irritating

Yep - NFS: Most Wanted & Underground 1/2 were prime examples of tuning cars and getting them fully pimped.

My boet always used to pimp out the merc CLK in most wanted because it was quasi-fast but could take out road blocks like a steamroller!

As for releasing a game before it was properly finished. Two prime examples are:

The witcher - bugs galore
KOTOR II - ending was rushed into an ad-hoc story finish.

Ironically - both of these are in my top 3 all-time-awesome-games list.
