Hey Boyz and Girlz

Yesterday I started playing RoseZA yesterday which I must take my hat off to the guys that developed it as this is a fantastic game and its great work done by the SA development team.

1. I must say the community especially the GM (Game Masters) are very very helpful.
2. The ingame quality is pretty good

Only down sides to it are the creatures you fight against... Its not like WOKF or WoW where u have evil looking creatures... as this game makes u feel as though ur fighting Cute and fuzzy looking creatures until they attack back at you doing twice the damage ur doing to them.

But I would suggest to anyone, especially the local only users who wanna get involved in the MMO scenario and download this game play it and drop your comments here...

So far im enjoying it and gotten used to it and I will continue to play. Happy Gaming :D

Note its not a sa development, but a sa emulated development for the actual IP which was done by Gravity Interactive.

that is not correct.

Krose developed rush on seven episodes (R.O.S.E), not gravity. Krose is dead, they have been for years. Gravity is just one of the many overseas servers, there is china rose, japan rose, indeonesia rose etc ... China and japan rose are descent servers, they constantly add content to the game and if it werent for the game being in the japanese or chinese langauge it would be perfect.

Gravity however arent doing to well, they only have 3 of the seven planets developed and last i heard their dev team is down to 2 people only, they have more bugs than we do and some of their skills dont even work at all. Indonesia rose is on its last leg too.

Anyway, what i wanted to point out was that we are changing the game everyday, already our game is unique and WE DO DEVELOP on the game ourselves. we add content, fix bugs, we add quests, we add gear, items, we are in process of adding a whole new planet in our upcoming expansion, 40 new hairstyles, 40 new facial features, dungeons, pvp content etc.... All the things that gravity doesnt have....

Hey well thats great to know that u guys are involved in some of the developments of the game :) and kudos must go out to ur GM's Raptor and I cant remember her whole name but its something along the lines of Sylily those guys are a great help :)

so you have the actual source code then ?, mind sharing the public link where i also can get the source code with all the resources ?

lol, the source code was leaked in 2006 already when krose died, what do you think the reason was for a hundred rose servers popping up all over the net overnight was ? just search google for it and grab yourself a copy, if you can still find working links.

problem is that the source code is almost 5 years old and very outdated by now, there are some groups that have done quite a bit of work on it through the years, like us, but the original leaked code like i said is very outdated, very.

and no, i am not going to share our source code with you. it aint gonna happen :)

I was trying to place who is the owner of the actual code, that is all. What thriel has done was to take the dead source and develop it further, in essence i am correct then that it is not an actual sa development, as the WE have not written the original code blocks, music and artwork. however, up too now what have been done from the leaked version; the ownership obviously lies with thriel team, which i'm quite sure was challenging and fun.

correct.

but we dont develop alone either, or never started too. we work with other rose teams as well, we share and pass on certain bug fixes on the original source or new additions.

client side the changes are all for each individual server, so all servers will differ in look, style, gear, level caps, content etc... but server side we all share much of the same bugs, well, us not so much as the others. For example 99% of the servers out there have the zombie bug, its been reported on narose too, but we have fixed this, and so it goes with bug fixes and as each server customises more and more so we all kinda drift apart and only really end up sharing common bug fixes, hard to explain, but you know what i mean. 5 years is a long time, and alot has happened.
