Neither do I - I'm patient enough to wait for the inevitable price drop. But the fact that something like CoD sells kagillions of copies at premium price in one day speaks volumes.
Certain PC games are also treading the R450 - R500 mark.

CNA provides 6-12 months repayments if bought on account. That's approx. R63 per month for 12 months. :)
