I was on 3G the whole of last year. It sucked big time.
You have to constantly monitor your data usage everyday. Games like Destiny would really eat into my cap.

So I wonder when they will announce the PS+ line-up for March? Usually it's never this late.
According to a few sites the announcement has been delayed. Hope this doesn't mean it's a bad month and they are waiting until the last to announce it.
Also Googled this today for an answer and apparently we might get an answer on Wednesday...

Has anyone got any feedback on Transistor and Apotheon? I havent DL'd them yet and wondering if i should...
I've been putting off buying Batman Arkham Origins till I see what the new games are, just in case I get screwed again. If there's no news by tomorrow I'm just going to buy it though
Discounted pricing on Batman ? If so I'd say it is worth it either which way.
Ya, Origins is R206.10

The other two are also on special, and there's a bundle of all 3 for R332.10, which I would get if I didn't already have Arkham Asylum and Arkham City through PS+

PS: Prices only valid till 12am GMT 05-03-2015 (So 2am on Thursday local time)
You probably could if you really wanted to play it on PS3 as well. And it is a great price for all 3. R206.10 is really good for Origins as well, but I have had quite a few times where I bought a game on special, and then it came out free on PS+ before I had even finished the game, so I was hoping to see the lineup before I forked out cash.
Well there is a little bit of time left, guess we can bite the bullet and wait ?
Transistor is a semi-turn based RPG Strategy Hybrid. You can pause the world plan attacks and move around then un-pause it and watch your plan in action. It initially takes a little getting used to but once you start unlocking doubles of skills it becomes so easy with the right combination of skills. Even with all ten limiters activated. Game play time I would say anything from 12 - 15+ hours.
If you love a good narration and story as well as a challenge then Transistor is worth the download.
Yes and no. You can run around and attack but you will take damage faster, then you pause stack up attacks and move around. Once you have planned your attack you unpause and them you actions are played out in real time, only a lot faster.
If you play with all the limiters (they make enemies tougher and give you XP boosts) off you will finish it in about 6 hours. It took me about a week of 2 hours a day to platinum it.
Well, no Batman on PS+ this month, so I have bought it, I had hoped to use a voucher to buy a PSN prepaid card form Kalahari for extra discountedness, but sadly, they don't do digital delivery, so I would have had to have waited for a card to be delivered and that would have been too late, so I just charged it to my CC.
matt darn dude :( Well it aint Batman but the games for this month looks fun! Can't wait to get into them!
Abes is gonna be a blast from past so hopefully the download is quick.
I was lucky i downloaded Apotheon and Transistor last night...
Really looking forward to Abe though!
Busy downloading abe, used to love that game back in the 90's.
Does Takealot sell PS+ subs or PSN vouchers?
Just played a bit of the Apotheon, and its actually pretty cool! Will wait to download the new games tonight... So keen to get playing Abe... Does anyone know if its a redo of the old one or completely new?
Grabbed all the games last night, 1/2 way done with the downloads due to some other game updates still running.
Tried out olliolli and omg, fun but HARD!
Yeah OlliOlli 2 is quite challenging! Just finished the first 5 levels.
Yeah timing is one thing, the other is getting the correct movements to do tricks... i erm had to do that grind thing a few times :S
i tried Olli for about 2 minutes and hated it. i have always hated skating games, so no big shock there. counterspy, on the hand, won me over instantly! love the whole cold-war look and feel. giving me vibes from "No One Lives Forever" and "Evil Genius"

Sony new update.
Quote:
A major software update coming to PlayStation 4 tomorrow will bring a number of requested features to the system that Sony says will enhance the social aspects of its console.
The update, which is codenamed "Yukimura," includes a new suspend/resume feature that will allow gamers to jump in and out of games quickly and pick up where they left off. The patch will also allow users to search for fellow gaming friends on Facebook and easily view what their friends are playing with the addition of a "Friends Who Play This" section on each game detail page.
In fact, Sony appears to be making more of a push toward social networking site integration overall. A new feature is coming tomorrow that automatically take a screenshot when a Trophy is earned and which can then be shared online. Users can also sort their Trophy list into new categories, like "Earned Date," "Not Earned" and "Grade," and have the option to remove games from the Trophy list that have zero percent completion.
Likewise, players will have the ability to upload video clips directly to Dailymotion, while Twitter-like verified accounts will also be introduced for games industry professionals, developers, producers, designers and community managers. These accounts will feature badges that designate the account is verified.
Sony is also working to improve and expand its accessibility options, making it easier for gamers with impaired vision and limited manual dexterity to play. Customized button assignment for the controller and a zoom feature for displayed pictures, as well as inverted colors, will be available after the update. Similarly, text-to-speech and enlarged text will be made available.
PlayStation Vita systems and PlayStation App for smartphones will also receive system software updates tomorrow, and will get complimentary features to those added on PS4. The PS Vita update version 3.50 and PlayStation App update version 2.50 will add new accessibility options, including enlarge text and increase contrast.
Nice! Thanks BeoTeK im looking forward to the resume feature! They could also make the PS app actually usefull...
