It was auto balance that kept changing you.... I was running RCON at that time and had a setting of the plug in wrong that kept changing the good players around to balance the team in that way.... And again it was Rcon that kicked you for swearing not me.... I banned you yes because you started telling me how $... my server is and that I dont know what I'm doing and all the nice words!!! So yes I banned you for talking smack because you clearly didnt liked my server but wanna play there... And yes I did say to you its my server and I pay for it so I can ban you if I want to... And yes I said to you that we should meet face to face not to fight.... but to show you that I'm actually a female and definitely didnt like the names you called me....

I created a account to reply to your post yes.... not to dig up old bones but I was actually shocked that you came here and bad mouth us but never came and told everyone that you allowed on our server again..... Im shocked in that!!!!

I pay for that server and dont get any money back from it..... so why should I listen to insults?

The issue got resolved and I posted that about an hour after I was banned. The issue is over and we've all moved on.

When & on what server? I started playing a few days ago, and Im a bit surprised that there are so few active servers in SA.

Well you are correct, I've noticed over the last few months how the player base is dwindling.
I actually counted the players over the weekend (and this was a long weekend), and during peak gaming hours there was roughly 570 players spread out over 18 servers. That is pretty poor, especially over a long weekend.

If I had to take a wild guess I would say the BF4 local community that actively plays is around 1000-1300 players (That's me being optimistic).

Possibility of a lot of guys being on leave or being away over the long weekend and not logging on, I also find that the numbers are dropping a bit but maybe people are playing new titles etc. and not spending as much time on BF as before. Hopefully the core will remain for a while but I find that when a new title emerges then guys go play that for a while and when they're done they return to BF, I know that was the case with me and South Park.

meh, I've not played BF4 for about a month, got into Diablo 3 :o "whistling: and just havent felt like BF4, the stutterfest was getting to me, my old GPU was slowly dying.

BUT, I upgraded my GPU yesterday, got a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 OC (4Gb) (upgraded from a GeForce GTX 285) and the very first game I tried was BF4....and was horribly dissapointed. Launching the game, with my low settings game me the same stuttering gameplay as before, I tried setting everything to medium or high and still stutters. I've installed the latest nVidia drivers, 335.23. Other games fly at max res. For example, Bioshock Infinite, Shadow Warrior, Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Diablo 3, etc.

I know my CPU is a hinderance, I have a Intel DC 8500. (have 8Gb system memory) Only thought this morning to leave the task manager open and to see the CPU usage, but still...

Win 7 x64.

Any advice?

Yep, your CPU seems to be a bottleneck here...

A while back we heard a comment that "an i5 was a rebranded Quad core". My friend replied that the shared cache on the i5 versus the non-shared cache on the quad core, is what makes battlefield playable or not. :D

Thought this was good :)
