The amount of detail they are putting into this game just warms my heart.

Second playable character has been revealed as Ciri.

CD Projekt Red has confirmed you won't be able to switch between her and Geralt at will, but rather at certain moments in the plot you'll assume control of her. These moments will, by the way, be very significant in terms of the story.

It'll will be interesting to see how they handle her source powers. Although she has similar sword fighting skills as the witchers, she can't use signs or potions (if they're following the book lore), so she should hopefully be quite different to play as.

lol Your rig will run the game perfectly fine bud.
Never ever ever bother checking recommended specs.

I mean for recommended they say either a GTX770 vs a R9 290.
R9 290 is a much faster card than a GTX770..lol On top of that a R9 280X is as fast as if not faster than a GTX770.

Still, they recommend an I7. But I guess the K-version I5 is still good enough for most gaming. :D

Besides, I'm not that much of a FPS chaser. Anything above 40 is acceptable for me. Beyond that I struggle to see or feel a difference in gameplay...

Unless the game takes advantage of Hyper Threading (Which none of the Witcher games have ever done) The i5 will be as fast as the i7.
