I couldn't stand all the American voice actors in a fantasy game :p Just my preference. You have to admit that it did sound rather bland for all the characters other than the main ones. Geralt's voice is awesome, but those generic NPCs were just copy pasted. Maybe it was just me? The Witcher 2 fixed most if not all my issues with the voice actors. I don't remember anything particularly jarring like my experiences with W1.
The combat system was different, I'll give them that. At least they tried something new. I wasn't really a massive fan, but at the same time didn't really dislike it. It was fine. A couple of my friends couldn't handle it though, once Geralt started waving his sword around like a wand, nope that was it. I hope that they get that perfect mix of W1 and W2 systems for W3.
I too am a massive Witcher fan, but you need to criticise so people can improve :p W3 will be the first game that I've pre-ordered in a very long time. Collections Edition here I come (hopefully) :) It's a sigh of relief to have a good, challenging (Dark Mode feels like an accomplishment) and ultimately entertaining game to stand out from all these dumbed down games that we've been getting recently. I have high hopes for W3, hopefully they don't disappoint.
Witcher 2 was actually much easier than Witcher 1 IMO. Even before all the patches that made it easier.
Just please, no corsets CD Projekt. Geralt isn't a ballerina. Especially after coming from the amazing W1 and W2 armor styles.
