/mature argument mode off.
Wat the f*#k Azimuth, haven't we already HAD this argument in another thread?
Yet you go right back to arguing your old position despite having been given good reasons as to why the lack of dedicated server support is a serious problem for the PC community.
Furthermore, to your comment: "Being angry and being a bunch of self-entitled brats making unequivocal demands of a company are two different things."
Actually, we're customers making demands to a company who is producing something for US. I know you're South African, and the concept of "Service Quality" is not something you are aware of, but us PC gamers, we are aware of service quality. And we're not afraid to voice our complaints about it. Does that make us "self-entitled brats"? No, that makes us aware of what we would like from something we are supposed to pay money for.
Now, on to the whole is-it-the-developer, or is-it-the-publisher debate. On a project like this, with the amount of code required, it is FAR more likely to be developer driven. The publisher frankly doesn't give a good goddamn about HOW the MP is implemented, so long as it can generate sales. The publisher may have had some suggestions, or planted the seed of an idea, but it's still down to the developers to make the game and implement the features.
PS.
I agree with Azimuth. Either buy the game, or don't buy the game. Don't be an asshole and pirate it. That just makes you a worse person than the retarded developers. And WTF would want to be a worse person than these retarded developers?
PPS. If you have a problem with swearing. Stay off the internet. In fact, stay off life. I've heard people at work swear more than any online 12 year old i know.
