Alright, so answer me this; why is it socially unacceptable to make jokes about black people belonging in the cotton fields, or about how we should gas all the jews or make jokes about people jumping out of burning buildings on 9/11, or make jokes about the taliban executing american soldiers? Why then, is it socially acceptable to joke about one of the worst things one human can do to another human? Rape victims are left to deal with intense and extreme psychological scarring that often does irreparable damage to the victim.

I really fail to see how rape is somehow considered suitable material for making jokes. Are our minds so small that we cannot fathom a world in which we do not make jokes about one of the worst hate crimes out there? Really?
