It's basically an app you can run on your PC that lets to connect to severs that host different channels, when you join said channel you can voice chat with everyone in that channel.Quote:

Traditionally we prefer Push to Talk as the feedback from freestanding mics can get really annoying (i.e. every time someone moves or talks in the background, the mic goes off) I personally would just purchase an el cheapo pair of headphones with a mic. After watching the live letter I'm probably gonna roll ARC. The Arcanist and Summoner look sick but it looks like they just support their creatures isntead of actually getting in on the action.

Word of advice: if you've played the BETA, reached 16 more than once and are keen to speed up your levelling process this Phase, start with a job that shares it's zone with a mate's. Levequests are much easier to cruise through as a group or +1. As a caster, I'm not keen to level solo ... again ... Snorefest zZz! ;)

I'm gonna start a male Miqo'te Archer tomorrow (hoping to get out of work early haha) and would be awesome to play the weekend with the same recurring group of people. my class will probably be pugilist into monk. i like that heavy dps classes but summoner does look fun to play... but monk looks so awesome. anyway. i would love to see some you guys around. probably going to be in beta phase 4 if my line speed can just allow me to download this damn game faster. lol

I've been following FFXIV on Twitter and the majority of servers are being *temporarily* locked down. My suggestion is that no Wolves get too carried away with their levelling until we have safely gotten everyone onto one server. If some people are on Moogle and the rest cannot get in, we're going to have to collectively vote for another server. HOPEFULLY they will unlock Moogle soon and everyone else will be able to create their characters.

Sweet, Bane. I managed to get into Moogle, however, I'd rather wait until everyone IS on Moogle before I start levelling. The reason being, it'll be a big fat waste of my time to powerlevel, only to discover that I need to reroll on another server. #Patience :)
