Deputy UK PM Nick Clegg discusses the negative effects of violent video games
Think he should start doing his job before talking about video games...

I agree with his corrosive effect. After playing as Trevor for 3 hours straight, I got up and had a rather violent outburst towards my wife for absolutely no reason and then demanded that she go out and find me some meth. I then went to the neighbours house and dumped on their doorstep while singing Cotton Eye Joe.
edit: Im actually joking but jeez, just because a game gives you the freedom to kill innocents doesnt mean you're going to go out and do it in real life. I do it in game because the people are not real, its bits of graphics and code flying about and dying not actual human life.
My wife did mention it would be nice if they had a hug button alongside the punch button though! hahaha:D
Recent online research suggests that the vast majority of Islamic Extremist Terrorists listed GTA as their favourite pass time. :-\
Hitler played GTA san andres as a kid, or some other game, it the only logical link.

People either don't read or are blind.Quote:
“Clearly these games can have an incredibly powerful, and I suspect in some cases corrosive effect, on someone’s behaviour, someone’s outlook; they get shut off, they don’t talk to other people, they just stay in their living room, their bedroom hunkered down in front of their computer,” Clegg said. “They occupy a hermetically sealed world of their own and that can have a very detrimental effect.”
