I've read lots of stuff about living in Japan and it's weird in it's own way I guess :p. Every country has it's own weirdness. I think the biggest thing is how different it is in comparison to our perceptions of it. Like you'll never fit in and most places don't have awesome technology around every corner. It's more localised to the big city centers. Still definitely want to visit though :D
Can't agree with u there mate. While I lived in the states for a year there was constantly stories of how kids were being raped and shot in CT, and documentaries about there being something like 188 gangs between Michells Plain and Grassy Park. I just had to go around and kill the blaze telling everyone it is not as bad as the news makes it out to be. My friend got stabbed to death on his way to school in a train when I was in grade 10, and that just for his old motarola cell phone... Though this country has it perks. The same I am sure can be said for Japan. Although I think its ridiculous after reading that article, there is nothing someone from SA can say to another country pointing fingers about the justice system failing yet again. We have the highest brutality rate in police arrests in the world!! The question is not why someone would want to go to Japan (cuz I will still in my life time visit there!!) the question is why come here to SA especially as a honeymoon destination where u can have a local kill ur wife so u can take her inheritance...Quote:

Pretty much, generally they include manslaughter until they can establish self defence in court in which case its ok. It's to prevent you killing someone and then claiming self defence while you walk away free or say your in a bar fight where a slaps you for touching his girl and you shoot him saying he attacked you first so it was in defence.Quote:

Well I can vouch that Japan is as crazy in reality as it is on the internet .
When I was there ,some of the local guys we were working with took as on a more real japan tour ,we asked him to show us the crazy fun side , we were thinking Tokyo drift hot chicks funky Rave more hot chicks and While he did show us some decent spots
I have to say watching 45 to 50 year old me Body surf no not the thing you do in the sea men slide down or rather across 10 to 15 20 something oiled up girls , was my biggest WTF moment .
