Split - Opinions - What are you listening to (V2.0)

This is more of a feeler than anything else.

Right now I'm not deriving any value from the "What are you listening to" thread because its just too diverse. Its just random people posting random youtubes. If I compare that to the mybb electronic thread...fewer people posting...I can sorta see where each of them is going style wise and thus it has more meaning to me.

Can't we maybe get say 5 threads split among the various genres...each with unofficial immunity from necro flak to prevent popularity preference?

@mods: Preferably in a subforum...people will lose track of the 5 threads so having them somewhere solid will help.

Should this gain traction - this is replacing meph's thread so he should have the first shot at whatever genre.

I will be second in line - and I vote Heavy/Nu Metal.

I don't know if there's really enough interest or enough people posting to do something like that. I like the idea though.

Like the idea, i find I just skip through a lot of that stuff and probably miss some good pickups (as I've noticed I have).

I vote for a Metal/Heavy/Thrash/Grunge/etc thread.

And within the thread/sub forum, each genre should be a sticky to get them afloat.

here are my 5 thread suggestions

1. Shit Music
2. Crap Music
3. Horrible Music
4. Classics
5. METAL

Metal is a pretty diverse genre in itself. I consider myself somewhat of a metalhead (listen mostly metal, but like some other genres as well from time to time), but there are certain genres within metal that I cannot stand (mostly), e.g. Black Metal, EBM, Nu Metal, etc. There are exceptions obviously.

They actually sing pretty well,I have a few original kpop albums that were bought in korea.

No Indie love :(

I only really do Rap, Rock, R&B and Electronica so...

Include that, and I'm game.
