But but but! Winamp is better than WMP! Quick someone push them onto kickstarter and get them going again!

Wow. End of an era. I don't really use Winamp anymore to be honest but I will be sure to grab that latest version.

Been an age since I used Win amp. Was a great piece of software in its heyday. RIP.

Well in all honesty I still use winamp till this day call me old fashioned but i like it. Some of the most epic skins for a music player was made for winamp

Woah! I've been using Winamp since I downloaded my first MP3, and I'm still using it today. It's part of my fond memories growing up with PCs and learning how to use them, LANs, parties, always Winamp was there keeping me company.

This really is the end of an era :/

I wonder what will happen to Shoutcast?

Glad i'm not the only one james your making me think back to so many LAN parties now.........those were the days.

Never was a great fan.

Was fine for what it was/is worth, however,
always resorted to using MediaMonkey, and then foobar2000 instead.

What about the poor Llama? Now this makes me feel old, I remember using winamp betas at lan parties and freaking out when winamp 3D skins were introduced.

Well this sucks...
