Here's a little something I always find intriguing. People will interact with you and pretty much get a sense of the kind of person you are, the kind of opinions you have on certain topics, etc. Eventually your age comes or they get curious about it, you tell them, and right then and there, you're a different person. 7 out of 10 times I'll get responses like, "wow, you're so young, stop having opinions of older people", "I didn't realize you were this young, why aren't you acting your age?", "Oh, wow, still in the immature years of your life then?"
Like seriously, is age that defining of a character trait that people immediately assume that if you act a certain way that deviates from what your age-group has you pegged as, you're trying to be different or older (essentially not being yourself) and need to act younger than you do (whatever the crap that means)??? Interesting how people color their perceptions of others around them.
