Best community

So having my fair share of experience with games that have a toxic community, I'm keen to hear which game has the best community. Best being defined as friendly, welcoming, positive, challenging (in the positive sense) etc.

To keep the thread on track:
>>Games with active servers only - I don't care about Doom 1
>>No mention of specific servers - it'll be a mess...keep it generic & focused on the game
>>I'd appreciate a comment as to what makes it special - whatever comes to mind

If your idea of "community" differs from the norm then pls explain that too.

I have to say FFA forver has an awesome one just ignore the russians and germans.

Well for the most part my experience with Loadout's community has been fairly positive. I've only encountered one or two trolls, and although the chat in game is minimal you do get the occasional friendly banter - like when you both smackdown each other it usually results in some shared "lol's"

Obviously all/most MOBA's would be excluded from the pontentials list.

TF2 has a fantastic South African community. There are tons of guys who help you out if you're new to playing, or if you're getting started with competitive playing :)

Stay away from Battlefield servers that are run by the BMW guys. They tend to ban everyone who gets the better of them.

Though from what I've read Valve has ignored them quite a lot (Diretide), so maybe they have reasons to be grumpy :p

Yip Dota 2 has the worst gaming community in SA followed by all the COD kiddies.
Best community...I would say Loadout and Diablo 3 have pretty awesome communities.

Seems good communities favour the less serious styles of games (TF2 & Loadout) or niche games (FAF). Not quite sure what to make of Diablo though? Care to elaborate Joker?

Diablo 3 community is top notch, most of the games I have joined were with friendly people and people that are willing to help. I think I've had one bad experience where a guy just followed us around, only looting and gaining exp while doing nothing.
