I think Mario is a perv who is spying on the princess.
a. He always save her and never gets anything in return, he must have his own reasons
b. He always knows when to save her, I'm pretty sure having your princess held hostage is high confidential information
c. He is a plumber which means he has access to her bathroom where all the pervs like to watch from
But that's my theory why Mario is always saving Peach
Mario is a very strange man. First he hunts down and beats Bowser, then he invites him over for some friendly go-karting...talk about bi-polar.
