Changed my focus to doing only PVP in Eve and chilling with Marvel Heroes for PVE.
I am considering starting FF A realm reborn, from what I have read it seems to be really good, really good reviews and player comments, anyone here tried it yet?
Edit: Just seen the huge thread about it, sorry!
GW2 Expansion 23rd October. Looking forward to playing GW2 again.
Playing Eve at night for PVP, some Marvel here and there for kicks and also playing GW2 again. I am trying to get my ranger to 80 for Heart of Thorns. Really looking forward to playing the druid spec and a revenant.
Playing GW2 most days and WOW only twice a week on raid nights at the moment
Mostly sticking to wow now. Will probably update my wildstar client to try it out over the weekend to see whats changed.
FFXIV
Dragon Nest
Skyforge
Blade & Soul
WildStar
Trove
B&S
And trying to get back into GW2.
Haven't kept up with new MMOs. Are there any new MMOs where the missions are a bit strategic? Excluding EVE.
I also want to get SC2 Legacy.
Tired of GW2, its all much the same after the first few weeks of grind.
Also looking for a new MMO to play and try out. Going to try Skyforge, I hear its a massive grind at some point but fun until then. I need something fun, even it is for a little while.
There is NOTHING out there that is new that I can see at this stage, which is weird since its holiday time soon.
Still playing Eve PVP many days a week, it is still excellent fun.
Having a hard time getting into MMO's lately. I keep everything updated but rarely log in. When i do log into Wildstar its just to open a boombox. I think my Engineer is Star Trek online has been level 23 for about 8 months now. I've considered installing FFXIV but meh.
I'm mostly playing stuff like War Thunder and DCS world.
Elite: Dangerous and Wildstar
Can you play it with a mouse and keyboard?
Yes you can. I got the Steam special, still finishing off Fallout 4 but will then most likely get more into E:D ., but played the tutorial.
I also grabbed Star Citizen on a special , i'd say both games fall in a similar category, but Elite is at least released, while Star citizen is just some sort of alpha (although definitely impressive with the whole walking around within your ship/hangar thing). Will compare both in terms of controls, but both work just fine with the keyboard/mouse.
Played some Rift on my leave, nice to do old school MMO again. Then my cousin bought me Elite and insisted I play with him as part of the deal. Having SUCH fun with it. Just the base game since Steam had a R210 sale on it.
Dug out a old joystick from 10 years ago and it works!
Got a 60 day patron pass for Rift and started leveling a mage. Just a pity the game is still not optimized after all these years. I suppose you can't do much with that horrible Gamebryo engine.
I want to get back to SWTOR. You can definitely see the budget in this game.
I see The Repopulation has shut down servers with Hero Engine's financial issues. Hopefully they get something sorted soon.
I actually paid like $15-20 for the pre-alpha/early access and fooled around in it a year ago. I wasn't very impressed though. While it certainly got a super deep crafting/interface type of system, the actual gameplay, you know , walking around and killing stuff was terrible. I actually think Star Wars Galaxies combat was more fun than this, and i believe they were trying to imitate SWG , but i hoped they didn't go as far as literally imitating the 2001 version of the game....
So yea, i honestly hope they get to rethink their entire approach with this game with this outage.
Their competition has become games like ARK , since that is also all about building/crafting, except ARK is actually fun to walk around and kill stuff in.
Rolled a new char in TSW and really enjoying it. Went with a pistol/sword build and just owning everything in my path. The new membership benefits looks quite good so i might pick up a sub for a month to see how it goes.
I'm hoping to be getting in on some Black Desert Online action tonight, Blade and Soul didn't work out for me, while the combat is fun and stuff but the new currency market sort of destroyed the point of the game for me(and playing solo was boring).
It has been a long time since I actually played any MMO games.
I like Battlefield - so BF4 if I dust it off again and NWN online. If I had my way, I would play Conan.
Im playing The Division at the moment, having a problem with flickering on the screen though, seems to be a common issue with amd cards, hopefully they fix that soon.
Just stopped playing Blade and Soul, the game was fun for a bit but becomes generic pretty quickly.
Looking into playing Blade Desert, just a pity about that ip block.
Also playing The Division, not sure I would call it an MMO, its more like Diablo than an MMO. Havent played an MMO for a while, nothing good out there ;-(
I currently only have time for Blade & Soul, as it's an MMO with no easy P2W option. You actually have to put in time and effort with a reliable guild group to get your gear up. Tried Black Desert and, as I expected, it has beautiful graphics, but awful immersion and zero soul. I still have two passes left, and I probably won't even use them. Having said this, I respect the opinions of others regarding their own personal tastes. I'm just glad to have something challenging to play with the guild again. :)
EQ2 mostly. I'm kind of feeling overwhelmed with it at the moment. There is so much to do and i'm still trying to figure out how everything fits together. Especially character advancement.
Mmm, how big is the game to download these days?
