Exclusives are bad for the consumer, no matter who has them.

Exactly. So it doesn't help to hate Microsoft. Hate the whole console war that's making us PC gamers missing out on some good games.
It's a smart move though. Both Microsoft and Sony are fighting for exclusive titles. Sony got From Software's new Bloodborne that looks amazing and it sucks that we won't be seeing it on other platforms. Microsoft got Tomb Raider and I loved he previous game.
Hate the way that this console war is having to make us choose instead of picking one of the console makers to get all angry about.
But yeah, it's not nice of them to take Tomb Raider away from us except if we get an XBone.
I can't really agree with that statement. From Software's game is a new IP, it's not a continuation of Dark Souls. Where Tomb Raider is an already existing game series, that is in continued development. All Microsoft has managed to do was push away a lot of paying customers and put a sour taste in some peoples mouths about Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics. While I do agree that if it would have been released the same time as Uncharted 4, Uncharted would have killed it's sales on PS4 but still, Tombraider would have easily made sales on XBONE and PC and after the initial rush of Uncharted, Tomb Raider would have sold on PS4 as well.
I do agree that they are both getting exclusive titles Tomb Raider was not an exclusive until now - so why change it?
Fair enough. I see your (and Graal's) point.
