I like this concept a lot actually. I am by no means any skilled or gifted boardgames player, but I love table top gaming! I wish you all the best in the future, and I will definitely see you guys at one of the events
I've been wanting to start up a dedicated board-gaming thread, but similar ideas have been criticized by a particularly sarcastic forum member. I'll gauge the interest from the response to this thread and then just do it anyway if there are sufficient numbers...
I know that Outer Limits in Pretoria holds board-gaming nights on Wednesday nights at their store. I think it might be a valuable addition to your site to include Gauteng, there are plenty of board-gamers and board-gaming events here.
StaggerLee, you'll get full participation from me. I love me some Settlers and some Small World. I just need to save up and buy me a copy of Small World and get it over with
Guys, table top board gaming is THE SHIT. So much fun! I'm surprised there hasn't been a dedicated thread for this before. Jan and I are keen table top gamers, so I can't see why anyone, sarcastic or otherwise, would think it doesn't belong here.
