Final fantasy 13 trilogy to launch on pc starting next month

Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII will be releasing on PC.

Set to release on October 9, the Square Enix RPG is one of many in the Final Fantasy franchise available on the PC, including Final Fantasy IV, VII, and the more recent Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Those who pre-purchase the JRPG will save 10 percent on their purchase for a total of $14.39 USD. After release, it will cost $16 USD.

The full release of the Lightning Saga - including Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy - will all be available by Spring 2015.

Originally released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010, Final Fantasy XIII became a fairly divisive game among both critics and fans. IGN's own review of Final Fantasy XIII says it is "worth buying, but it doesn't quite feel as complete as its well-loved predecessors."
