So... as you guys/gals know. I own both consoles and I cannot really downplay either of them. At least not until now. In light of recent multi-platform releases I found myself looks at alot of X vs Y game play videos to help me decide which platform to get a game on. I.e. GTA5 / The Crew for example.
Now we all know that the PS4 is the "better" console (to some) when it comes to hardware (or on paper) and in some cases games even run better on it. But given recent research I have discovered one thing, across most versus videos I've watched, I have seen that visually, the XBO seems to be better where the PS4's images seem to be a bit more washed out. The XBO colors are a lot more vivid or rich. This is particularly clear in GTA5, The Crew and even Far Cry 4.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?

I haven't tried the Xbox One, but I'm very happy with my PS4.
It sucks that the games are so expensive, but that's pretty much unavoidable with either console, and PS have been having some great sales lately. If you're cool with waiting a few months to get most games, it doesn't have to be a bank-breaking experience. Infamous Second Son, for example, was R299 on the PSN Store a few weeks ago. Not half bad considering the game was released 8 months ago and you'll still find it in the likes of BT Games for R899. I take ages to finish a game, so it's probably good I'm not racking up a massive back catalog! Though the aforementioned recent sales haven't been helping :o
