Okay, hypothetical example here: Replace the word game with film and you are basically saying specific film types should not be made?

Look at your answer carefully, you claim to understand other views but don't accept they are out there. While you are ok with this game many are not.

I'm not offended by your views, I don't agree with them that's ok, but you are also not going to convince me that we need this sort of game out there.

I do understand what people are saying, and accept that. You also have to understand that people are being too critical on one area of industry. Why is it that if a film is released about a mass murderer it becomes entertaining, yet a game is said to be sick?

Perhaps there is a distinction to be made, although somewhat hypocritically, between film (where I watch something) and a game (where I control something). I don't know....

I find films more descriptive and psychologically interactive than games as you have to think what you would have done in that situation and what the outcomes would be, while with games you just do what is expected.

I agree with the both of you, but I do believe in games it is a moral choice.

Game gives you weapon, you choose what to do.
Movies (or other type of entertainment mediums) does not give you weapon, and makes the choice for you; you just have to live with the outcome. Games give you a choice... Hell, stop playing it - same with a movie - if you so desire.

Pretty much, a tasteless storyline shouldn't be entertained at all.

Haha! I read some of the comments while the trailer was caching and thought: sheesh! Hypocrites! You will kill hundreds and thousands of people in games all the time. Then we move off-world and kill even more peace loving creatures on their home planets.

Then I watched the trailer and I was like "Ah. Now I get it." I won't be playing this, thank you. Freedom of speech and all that allows you to make games like this, and you sickos can have fun playing it and then with yourselves... Waaaay too OTT for me!
