Witcher 3 Delayed to May 19 2015

We owe you an apology. We set the release date too hastily. It’s a hard lesson, one to take to heart for the future. We know what we want to do to make Wild Hunt one of the best RPGs you will ever play. And we continue to work hard to achieve just that. So, we apologize and ask for your trust.

Quite a bummer, but tbh I'd rather they take the time to make sure the game works as intended. We've seen enough unfinished games this year...

Suits me just fine as I'm contemplating buying myself a Wii U for X-mas and I was trying to figure out how I can do that and still save enough money for Witcher's CE before the end of February.

cool with me as well :-) i would prefer for them to take a bit longer, and then release a complete game with as few bugs as possible.

This seems to be becoming a bit of a trend for this gen... perhaps developers need to start announcing release dates closer to the release dates when they're realistically able to see whether they're going to be able to make it or not. Would suit me fine not having to wait a year or more for a date that's been announced. Not sure why, but the time between game releases seems to go a bit quicker for me when I'm not focused on a specific date I'm looking forward to :p

No prob I had a feeling this would happen as this is there first truly open world game.The wait will be worth it also gives me more time with Bloodbourne.
