This is the dumbest thing ever, they want to relocate everyone in the country so that there is a "balance" in racial differences in each province.
These people are so stupid, this country is turning into a bigger joke and disappointment.
Imagine you are told to move from Gordons Bay Cape Town to the Northern Cape.

I heard, from a reliable source, that the ANC wanted to merge the Western Cape and the Eastern Cape as one, this is cause they want more black votes.I'm not lying on this.
They have been trying every dirty trick to get more of their followers into the Western Cape.
FYI, when it was the ANC's bday or whatever ,all those people that were in the stadium were NOT from the Western Cape, they were all flown and bused in from all the other provinces to make people believe they have a strong support in the WC.

Lets say we were, the amount of fighting this would cause against the government, and the amount of force they would need to use to pull it off, would simply not be worth it. Honestly, there is no point to be bothered by this because it will never happen. It's sensationalist news for a time when sensationalist news gets all the views, and level headed representation doesn't.
Rather worry about the bills and amendments Gov. wants to put forward, as outlined in the SONA. Because that stuff can easily happen.

Solidarity does some great work in protecting the rights of SAs minorities, but they also like a fine bit of scaremongering on occasion too.
This suggestion would be akin to the forced removals and separate development policies of the old Nats, and would never stand up in a Constitutional test, imo.
As for the "reliably sourced" suggestion of the merging of EC and WC... The ANC led ideal of making WC "ungovernable" before the last elections failed dismally, despite all the bussed in protestors, free KFC lunch packs and Zuma emblazoned t-shirts.
If they did merge the two it wouldn't surprise me to see the ANC losing support to the DA in both regions. But it is as likely to happen as the WC seceding from SA and becoming an independent nation. i.e. not likely at all.
