Hi guys.
I've been wanting to ask this for awhile now but here goes.
How much do you spend on your phone and petrol every month.
Phone: Avg over the last 3 months R3200 pm
Petrol: Avg over last 3 months R3600 pm
Here goes,
Average phone bill, I'm assuming you mean mobile - about R1500 (two mobile phones, 1 for work and the other personal)
Average petrol bill is about R2500.
Difficult to compare unless you provide contect what sort of job you have. I mostly travel to work and back and am in one location.
R1800 On petrol
R900 on prepaid airtime.
Holy cow you guys spend a lot!
R400 on petrol.
R110 on airtime (prepaid, have phone).
R55 on airtime
R1200 on petrol
R0 on phone as I use wireless
R500 or less on Petrol every month
R500 on my cellphone
R1 500 to R2 500 on petrol depending on travel etc.
Travel claims are variable from R500 to R4 000
Per month:
R798 for two phones through FNB and then R200 for airtime and data
For petrol, I'm looking at R2 000 as I fill up once a week.
Phone - about 500
Petrol - varied a lot - between 1k and 3k I'd say.
R510 for phone
R2500 for petrol
Bought my phone cash, so I have a sim only contract for R209 a month.
For work I'm in a lift club, so about R500 odd per month (drive about 1week per month with my car)
Phone is about R300 through FNB and airtime/data is about R100 pm.
Petrol is R400 pm.
Phone R1099 per month (RED Advantage with extra data)
Petrol R3500 per month on a good month, closer to R5000 on a busy month.
I am in construction and am on my phone a lot. Subcontractors respond better to calls than email I have found.
I also drive between sites a lot and having a big bakkie does not help my fuel economy :(
Phone
R489 PM voice data and sms bundle.
Petrol
Around R300 pm
R 30 on Phone
R 200 onPetrolDiesel
About R50 on my phone (since i cancelled my contract, that was R300 a month and i barely made any phone calls)
Petrol between R1600 and R1800 i do about 50k's in total a day to work and back
How the hell do you people get to spend so little of fuel?! R300 is like half a tank for me and it takes me roughly 350km. I drive that in a week!
My house us 2km away from the estate's gate. The gate is 4km away from the nearest Spar. The gate is 21km away from my office (and 30km away from the client I'm posted at currently). Funny enough, the gate is 30m away from a hospital. That must count for something at least? :p
R500pm - Corsa lite (dont fancy driving the Beamer or Triple S to much gas)
R400pm - 2 iPhone 4s Contracts
Stay with in 10km from work, 8ita calls is free when calling another 8ita subscription!
Around R1200 on my phone contract including additional data purchases every month, just had adsl installed so will be glad to be rid of that next month when the contract finally ends. Petrol I guess around R500 a month give or take. Everything I need is pretty close by, just work that's a small distance every day.
Yeah some of these number seem crazy low to me on fuel. Congrats all involved...good frugality.
Lately I've been spending a lot more on skype credits than actual phone costs. Telephone services are pretty craptastic here (Yes far worse than SA) so mostly Phone>>wifi>>Internet>>Skype dial-out
R650 pm for phone (data and calls)
R1200 pm for petrol
My phone is R319pm with the odd 100mb or 200mb bundle purchased separately.
Petrol varies a lot but it is usually between R800pm and R1000pm.
The reason for my relative low cost is that when I need transport for work, I get a pool car. And I do my work related calls via my landline.
As a responsible adult, I carefully calculate these savings each month and then blow it on gadgets, hardware, games and booze.
R520+- for my Note 4, including calls
Petrol.. about R700 every 2nd month
~3 full 55l tanks of fuel every month
Cellphone is R495 pm and I barely use the minutes/sms/data as i'm on WiFi 90% of the time and use Viber/Skype to call my relatives
Monthly cellphone bill: R0 as it's a company phone
Monthly petrol bill: R0 as the company pays for petrol....
But everything calculates to about R550 for the cellphone and R1500 for petrol per month.
i pay about R400 for my phone and petrol is about R1000.00. i dont drive around a lot and i have a small car. also work is 15km away from my house
Currently I contribute:
R400 for petrol
R12 for airtime (though this is a variable)(mainly use Wi-Fi)
