/slightly random
So as some of you might have heard I recently +- ruined my brand new gaming laptop with a liquid spill WASD side (highly conductive liquid). The core functions seem to have survived, but the keyboard was doing the standard liquid spill story (i.e. press space and you get a bonus "e" letter and maybe a "4", some keys not working others triggering a variety of letters)
So I've been using a USB keyboard to patch things over.
Today I randomly decided to give the laptop keyboard another try...and its absolutely perfect. Haven't made a single typo in this post.
Anyway...I'm kinda blown away by the whole thing. I was reasonably impressed that the core laptop functions survived a big conductive liquid spill (while switched on & didn't even flip it upside down in time)...but the shot keyboard recovering full functionality from a sticky conductive liquid spill given time....thats a new trick
So going forward Asus ftw :)
